Rick has been within the company his entire life, his dad started the business many years ago and in 1992 he took it over. He is a very customer orientated individual who is always striving to make the customers experience better. He is a Technician with over 30 years of experience as well as certifications in Mercury/Mercruiser and Yamaha.

Rick the owner and employees at Anchor Marine are top notch. We ended up in a bind in early June after having our boat at a different service place. The other business had done a tune up on our Yamaha outboard, and after they completed it they told us they couldn't get it to run and we needed to pick it up and take it somewhere else. At that point we were scrambling to find a place that could fix it before our family vacation. I called Rick and had a conversation with him about our situation. Well to start off, Anchor Marine has been the most helpful dealership I have ever dealt with. 7 years ago my journey had started with Anchor when I was in the market for a used boat. The staff was excellent to deal with. They were knowledgeable and it was a relaxing experience. WOW!!! What more can be said... I have dealt with 3-4 Skeeter dealers from WI to GA. This was by far the best customer service I have seen in the marine world. I operate multiple auto dealerships and I hope to share this experience with my own employees to help ourselves improve. I was in a serious time crunch, Electrical panel seemed to fail. Rick got me in right away as I was heading for a major tournament in LA in a week. I am Very Happy with the quality of work and the price they charged to fix my Yamaha motor on my Ranger boat. I had my boat at 3 different places and they told me that the motor needed the power head to be replaced. Rick and his team took my boat in and did a OUTSTANDING JOB, it runs perfect !!! Rick at Anchor Marine is very AWESOME to deal with and his son who is a Master Mechanic on Yamahas did a GREAT JOB at a GREAT PRICE. I highly recommend them for any boat repairs you may need.

I had an issue with my Minnkota Terrova trolling motor yesterday (Sunday 4/14/2017). I called Anchor Marine service and spoke to Rick (or Nick, can't remember) - he told me to bring it over - their schedule was full but he'd sneak me in, as I'm leaving for a Canadian fishing trip in less than two weeks.
Not only did Anchor fix my issue, they did it IMMEDIATELY while I waited. My boat was at Anchor Marine less than an hour, they serviced my boat right away.

Been in 2-3 times. Never felt wanted. (A friend told me the same thing. Although he said it's better the last time he went in. ) Called for parts once very recently and was told to look it up on the website myself and save myself and the parts guy some time.
