Here sits many of the original buildings from the historic old Pines Motel, one of the original rest stops on the Pacific Crest Trail. Be inspired by the beauty of this vintage property and the ancient Coulter Pine trees that grow throughout our hotel. The "Grand Pine" concept was imagined by the visionaries at Sierra Blue Ventures and was transformed into a unique destination hotel experience.
We feature a selection of bungalows, suites, studios and motel style rooms in the heart of the downtown Wrightwood, nestled in the Angeles National Forest. The 2 year renovation was completed in 2021 and included building a guest service team as dedicated to our customers as we are to our Coulter Pines.

My husband and I spent our anniversary weekend here and I loved it. We were upgraded to a room with a fireplace and it made all the difference. Loved the room and it's ambiance. So jealous that I couldn't buy the soaps and lotion the room provided but I'll get over that. I would definitely come back

I highly recommend staying here. We stayed for 2 days just for a short get away and the cabins are so cute and really clean we had cabin 8, Gilbert was a really nice guy, he will do everything he can to make your stay comfortable. The town is small you can walk to all the restaurants & shops, the food is great in every cafe and the Mile High pizza place makes delicious pizza's, the Mexican restaurant food was good too. The locals are all very nice. You can take a short drive to mountain High.

I am not even sure how we found this place? Diamond in the rough for sure. The beds were so comfortable. The room A/C blows popsicles so we were kept cool. Decor was chic and cute. The location was great! Plenty of hiking in the area. We did Mt. Baden Powell and Big Horn mine. The managers were friendly and helpful. Highly recommended.

This was my third stay here over the last few years and I have watched this place evolve to a truly hidden gem. You will not regret your stay. The beds and pillows are clouds, the bathroom accoutrements are on point, and the mini bar is fabulously stocked. Staff and management are incredibly helpful and kind.

We had a very nice pleasant stay at Grand Pine Cabins. We vacationed there for the Memorial Day Weekend it was very peaceful and Quiet. Prime location right next to all the Shops, restaurants and Market. Room includes microwave, mini bar, small fridge, coffee maker, A/C and Heat. Also our room had a Galaga Arcade game. Gilbert was very attentive and answered all our questions and reachable by text.

Gilbert is an absolute dream to work with. He's so hospitable and gracious. He put together a package that suited our group to the T & took the time to tour us around the grounds. He also networked us with activities such as onsite massage and yoga!! This beautifully, newly renovated property is so well put-together, classy and designed well with comfort and easy luxury in mind.

Came here this past weekend for a wedding and was beyond impressed with the personal, customer service and amenities at these sweet, chic cabins.
Since our friend's wedding started a bit early (2pm) we needed an early check in as we were driving up from OC. Gilbert made it his personal mission to accommodate a check in time for us, calling us on his cell phone to confirm and settling us into our one bedroom cabin for the night.
The room exceeded our expectations with a boho, trendy vibe with sweet upgrades you would expect in a 5 star hotel like a carefully crafted mini bar, large modern

My family really enjoyed our stay here. Staff was great! Lance called me a few days prior to check in and went over everything they are doing to make sure their rooms and hotel were in compliance with covid protocols and asked if there were any special requests or anything I needed prior to my check in. While I was there, Gilbert went above and beyond to make sure we had all we needed and that we were comfortable. The rooms are great! My kids loved the bunk beds and the mini arcade game right in our room! Beds were very comfortable. The surrounding area is great. Lots of restaurants and cafes.

Grand Pine Cabins are a perfect spot for spending a few nights in the mountains. Though the units are small, they are well-appointed with AC/Heat, big-screen TV, lots of towels and a well-stocked minibar. The location cannot be beat. Right downtown and just 3 miles from the ski resort. Lance was very helpful with all of my questions, and the contactless check and check out made the process simple.
The property is smoke free and the lodgings fit everyone from a single person, to couples and families.
This was my second stay and I highly recommend and would return the next time I'm in the

We loved this place! We rented room 5 with a queen bed and a bunk and it was so cozy and cute! I love how it is decorated and has a lot of rad little details. The beds are incredible. I saw some complaints about the noise, but these cabins were built a long time ago and it's really not bad. They even put a white noise machine in the room to help. We'll be back!

No light blocking curtains, so it was impossible to sleep, bright light is on outside all night long.
Paper thin walls, literally can have a conversation with neighbors through the wall.
Exteamly small room
Smelled like sewer
All that for an extraordinary high payment. I would pay 60$, not 260$ a night
We will not stay here again.

When I went to this place about 3 weeks ago, It was supposed to snow. At about midnight, The flakes started hitting the ground while we were sitting by the complimentary fire and mini bar. (It includes a free drink.) After the night went by, we went to Mountain High. The snow was pretty crazy there! It's also very close to the Wrightwood skatepark, and other shops in town. I really recommend staying here!

*** In the effort to decompress from our experience and not come across as a Karen I waited 3 weeks before writing this review and alas nothing has changed about how upsetting our experience was at Grand Pine Cabins and more so how the situation was handled and how these owners conduct their business.***
We booked 2 nights over Christmas at Grand Pine "Cabins" first of all - website photos and name of property are completely deceptive - most of the rooms are not cabins, rather insanely tiny motel rooms with 2 walls adjoining other rooms **uninsulated wood paneling** and when I say you

Great mountain getaway, safer for these pandemic times and everyday stressors. The location was across the street from a skate park, so it wasn't as secluded as I intended but I didn't mind it. 🤙🤙Skate or die!! 🤙🤙 It's located very close to restaurants and shopping places, they are within walking distance. The bed was very comfy, the AC worked great, overall I really enjoyed this grand pine cabin mountain experience. The only complaint was the water temperature, it was the worst shower ever. The water wouldn't stay warm for more than 15 seconds at a time and then would get freezing

This place is a cozy, quaint, well kept, clean and restful charming little gem of a motel/cabins. We booked through Expedia and had a lovely stay there last night. I always love to write nice things about a place I enjoy and this is a clear case of that. Alissa was our host and was apologetic for the no ice rule during the pandemic but that was totally ok. We loved the bathroom fixtures and the nice touches throughout the room. I heartily recommend those accommodations, I will certainly be calling them to stay again!

Our family had a weekend stay at the Grand Pine Cabins in February. We had an amazing time and loved how our room had the right amount of modern, chic and rustic touches. The rooms were clean with comfortable bedding and our bathroom had nice touches with a large modern shower head. There was also evening wine social hour and pastries in the morning. Across the street, our kids got to play at the playground which was super convenient. The hotel is also centrally located in town and we took a walking stroll around and ate at the Evergreen Cafe, which was delicious. Thanks for going above above

We absolutely loved the Grand Pine cabins. The room was itty bitty, we stayed in a 2 queen room (cabin 3) and it barely fit me, my husband, 7year old and 2 year old. Despite the smallness of the room we would stay here again in a heartbeat. It was clean, the location was convenient (restaurants, parks, stores at walking distance). The room had a fridge and microwave. The tv had Netflix, Hulu, amazon prime. Cozy, clean and the staff were all friendly and helpful. The beds were super soft and comfy as well.

This place is clean and has a very nostalgic feel to it. We were in the family cabin that has not yet been renovated, but the only part that would make me feel it needed to be redone is the creaky floor. The bathroom was nice with unique products to use. Beds we're comfy and the room had a mini arcade machine, record player and a little coffee station. Ut was retro yet modern with their nice TV set up equipped with Netflix & Hulu.. The staff was friendly and their front office is cozy. Pet & kid friendly place. Outside the walk ways are nicely lit up at night and the property is well

We stayed here for one night and were charmed by the coziness of our cabin. The staff working were helpful and courteous. The location is perfect walking distance to all the bars, restaurant, and shops in Wrightwood. Added bonus that our cabin had a fireplace and they threw in complimentary firewood. I look forward to coming back and will be sure to tell others of this little gem.

Calling this place dumpy would be a complement. The shades were broken from being crazy old and everything else needed updating. It's got new owners.
If you are a PCT hiker the laundry is now $10 and a ride to the trail is now $10. A double room in $110 and that seems high for what you are getting. I'm just not feeling any cabin in the woods charm.
