Because of the complexity and importance of the eyes, treating the surrounding areas should be reserved for only surgeons with the highest level of expertise. An oculoplastic, or oculofacial plastic surgeon is a board-certified ophthalmologist who has completed additional fellowship training that focuses exclusively on the eyelids, eyebrows, orbits, mid-face and tear ducts.

Dr. Neimkin and his staff provide excellent care from start to finish. They are professional, warm and caring. Dr. Neimkin’s patients feel known and valued. Not only is he a highly skilled physician/surgeon, Dr. Neimkin has an excellent rapport with his patients. He is extremely conscientious, responsive and kind. You never feel rushed during an appointment and leave with all of your questions answered and an excellent treatment plan.

Words cannot describe my gratitude to Dr. Neimkin and his staff. I had nightmares every day for eleven years after botched eye surgery. I was self-conscious in public all the time and would never leave the house without eye makeup. The thoughts about how ugly I was were all consuming. I went to Dr. Neimkin for a consult about doing eyelid surgery so that my eyes were more visible. I had been thinking about doing this for years, but had never found the right doctor. Why didnt I do it sooner? I had an upper lid lift (blepharoplasty) and total face CO2 laser. I was fully recovered to wear make-up and be in public at 10 days. Im a physician myself and researched surgeons extensively. Dr. Neimkin is the man! His staff is amazing. My incisions were perfect. Lift symmetrical. No pain at all. Just some itching. The laser zapped every wrinkle around my eyes. Couldnt be happier!

I went to Dr. Neimkin after having under eye fat transfer done by another plastic surgeon. This ultimately caused both lower eyelids to droop. Dr. Neimkin was able to stabilize my eyelids, preventing further scarring. He then performed lower eyelid retraction surgery to permanently correct them. My eyes look amazing! Dr. Neimkin is the best plastic surgeon for eyes! He knew exactly what to do to fix my problem. I couldn’t ask for a more wonderful doctor. He and his entire staff are so professional and caring.

Dr. Michael Neimkin is my go-to referring oculoplastics doctor. I am a dermatologist and Mohs surgeon. Many of my patients have skin cancers on their eyelids and I have to remove portions of their lids. I always send them to Dr. Neimkin to do the reconstruction after the cancer is removed. Dr. Neimkin has done miracles on these cancer patients. In addition to skin cancer surgery, I have a busy cosmetic practice. Patients are always asking about cosmetic eyelid surgery. I went in for Ptosis surgery and was very apprehensive considering I've never had surgery ever. But instead I had the most pleasant experience from working with his staff members and my initial consultation and diagnosis. Dr. Neimkin let me know what was to be expected and how long the procedure would take. I came out of surgery with NO complications or pain. My eyes never bruised but was swollen which was to be expected but the worse part only lasted 3 days. I never had to take any pain medication. I found Dr. Neimkin to be very personable and very engaged in my conversation with all my questions
