Pickles and Bones is a carry-out only restaurant that also offers catering services. We honor the craft of well prepared barbecue by cooking only with all-wood fire. That's a big deal. In addition to the high quality smoked meats the sides are made from scratch and the bread is baked fresh every morning.

Pickles and Bones did an incredible job making food for our 175 people wedding reception! My husband and I love P&B in general, but the food for our wedding was fantastic. Everyone raved about it. We had pulled pork and pulled chicken along with lots of sides. Nicole (one of the owners) and her husband were great to work with and provided everything we needed to cater our wedding.
Since the early days of slinging barbecue out of the trailer Pickles and Bones Barbecue has been committed to giving back to our community. Working with the local schools and other 501(c)3 organizations we are proud offer our dine out program as our way to give back. We host your organization for a full day at our carryout location and give back 20% of the sales generated by your event to help out your cause.

Eaten lunch there on a couple of occasions. Food was fine. Nothing special, just fine. Rather expensive lunch for 3 slices of meat 1/4 of which is fat. But again the taste was fine. I do love good pickles tho and sorry, but these just did not cut it for me. ( Personal preferences I guess) Even worse was that the pickles mix with the minimal meat. Not the flavor I was hoping for. Probably the best restaurant in its area tho, but not cheap for what you get at lunch. Again, it is fine.

If you want the best barbecue in the Cincinnati area, this is it! From the friendly smile that greets you when you walk in the door to the smile on your face after you taste the food, it is always a memorable experience. Josh, Nicole, and all their staff bring their very best every day. All wood-smoked meats and scratch made sides and don’t forget the banana pudding!

Delicious pulled pork, sweet potato and coleslaw (which is saying something for me since I don't like coleslaw at all). It was a little difficult to find since the sign is small and I didn't know what kind of signage I was looking for as this was my first time visiting. The folks are extra nice and filled my order super fast
