I walked into Eastside cycles randomly 3 weeks ago.
Now 2 bikes later one for me and one for my fiancé we couldn't be happier.
Even after I found out that my first bike I purchased wasn't the right model for my riding style the owner Ryan and his awesome team helped me get things swapped out and I found the right bike.
We swing by every now and then for a part or repair and it's always such a great experience. It feels like the techs really want me to succeed as a bike owner and go above and beyond to share knowledge and time with me. Thanks Ryan and thanks team for treating

Hands down, best shop in town. Too many good things to say about them honestly, but what I really love is that they always give you options (and explain the benefits of each) at different price points for whatever you are trying to do. Ryan and all of Eastside's employees really know their stuff and they've always done such a fantastic job keeping my bikes running great and helping me upgrade them (ex: Ryan spent some time searching for some discountinued wheels for my cross bike because he knew they would be perfect for me, and they are!). I've been to every bike shop in this town and Eastside sets a high bar. I special ordered a bike for my son that was on backorder and the communication regarding the timing was great. Bike came in, they called me on Friday morning letting me know they could get it built so we could take it camping that day (we had already left town Thursday night). Came in and picked the bike up on Wednesday. Bike was ready to roll including complimentary slime in the tubes which a lot to shops charge even when buying a new bike. There aren’t enough stars to rate how highly Eastside Cycles serves its customers. Every time I have been into the shop, I have learned something that helps me get more out of my bike or helps me care for my bike. Every person who works at Eastside will listen to what you want and then break down options in a way that instills confidence in your choice. I wish I would win the lottery so I could get them a bigger space in Bown Crossing ... the world needs more businesses like Eastside.

What an absolutely wonderful experience! I just started riding again after many years, so brought in my bicycle thinking I probably needed a new one. Karen, who was very friendly and extremely knowledgeable, took time with me to look over my bike and explain what needed to be set up correctly to make it safe, and fit me better, and then Patrick (one of the shop's mechanics) came out and made those adjustments for me. I first chose to go to Eastside Cycles because it was within a mile of my house and convenient. A year later, I moved across town and I still make the 20 minute trip to Eastside because their service is absolutely phenomenal! Their prices are very reasonable, they always finish when they promise to, and they are straightforward to work with. They have gone the extra mile for me several times when I needed to get a bike repaired on a tight deadline, or needed to be able to pick up my bike after-hours. I took 2 Craigslist bikes in for some rear tube replacements and the guys were super awesome! I’m a total scrub when it comes to bikes but these guys didn’t judge! I even had to come back with the rear whee because the chain... well I didn’t know how to put it back on and they helped me out! It was totally awesome super great staff and super cheap repairs, plus a very nice well kept shop! You guys made a permanent shopper today!

I've been a customer of Eastside Cycles for over 4 years now and am routinely impressed by the store. Most recently, during an overhaul of my bike, one of the bike mechanics found a small crack in my frame. Ryan explained the issue to me and walked me through the process of a frame warranty. The new frame arrived and the bike was rebuilt and overhauled as originally planned. My 4 year old bike felt brand new!
I've had service done and talked with multiple other shops in the valley, but I routinely return to Eastside for the level of customer service and personable people that work there.

Eastside Cycles is out of
my way. Idaho Mountain Touring, George's, etc., is my neck of the woods. But one weekend, when looking for a shop that could fix a flat, I decided to
give Eastside a try. I'm glad I did.
I've only had small jobs performed by them (flat fixes, tire replacements, etc.). I've only been there a few times. But with just those few experiences, they've created a big fan.
They offer top-notch customer service. Every time, within seconds of entering, they have always immediately welcomed and acknowledged me and offered service.

Ryan (the owner) sets a great tone for this place. Eastside has a super helpful, patient and knowledgeable staff who take their time working with me whether it's my cheap cruiser or my expensive race bike. Everyone in the shop is as into biking as I am, and that's pretty darn into it. By far the best shop in Boise.

I had a bad wreck on my bike on the Greenbelt last Saturday and I was absolutely floored at the fact that my bike was completely put back together ready for me to pick up on Friday of this week this blew me away from the workmanship is excellent the price point for this work was incredibly inexpensive I can't say enough good things about this cycle shop in the care and attention to each individual that comes in is absolutely outstanding.

These guys are great. My bike sat for 2 years while I was out of the country, so based on their reviews, I took it to Eastside for a tune-up (even though I live downtown). Apparently it was still in pretty good shape and since it is also a fixie and not complicated, they actually gave me a discount! After I paid, I also asked a couple of questions and he explained everything and even made a couple of additional adjustments for me without charging me extra. Two snaps up!

We took all four of our bikes in for tune-ups. They did a great job on checking all of our bikes including 2 kid's bikes. The bikes were ready as they promised, it is understandable that they are busy and they did inform us that before giving us an estimated pick-up date.
The work was done in a great and professional manner. We really love it. Their staff is friendly and patient. They explained the services done in details, and we think the price is very reasonable. Highly recommend it!

We went in to buy bikes for the whole family. The staff was friendly, courteous, knowledgeable, and patient even after my parents changed their minds a couple of times. They did not talked down to us or made us feel dumb. They did not try to upsell. They were able to order an item we wanted they did not had at the store.
After the purchase the staff continue to work with us on the adjustments needed for a smooth comfortable ride. They take the time to listen and came up with incremental options of working on the problem. We stayed well within budget. I recommend this shop to anyone regardless

Let me start by saying I am not a cycle person. I don't visit cycle shops often and this is the first time ever visiting one. I live no where close to this place but I personally know someone who works here on occasion and he assured me they would not take advantage of me.
