We are excited to announce we are partnering with a company called Athelas to provide you with cutting edge care. The Athelas program will provide you with tools to monitor your vitals at home ex. Athelas will ship you personal connected health devices and train you on how to use them. Device(s) may include: blood pressure cuff, weight scale, glucose monitor or a combination of all three, as indicated by our practice.

Mental health issues? Not the place for you! Only one psychiatrist... who doesn't take new patients. Rest are only Physicians assistants. Unresponsive staff. Unwillingness to work with me. READ FINE PRINT OF ONLINE CONTRACT. Accidently missed an appointment. Now being charged 175$ will not let me work out a payment plan. Unwillingness to have any kind of understanding or grace. Left several messages never returned. Then I was told I'm marked down for not able to make a future appointment . You know what? Absolutely fantastic.... wouldn't go here if you paid me. I have enough issues with stress

I completed the online patient forms and submitted it. Waited 4 days. Left 2 voicemails before someone called me back. Only to be gaslighted by the scheduler because she didn’t see my form submission. I asked if I could come in to fill them out in person because I really need to make an appointment and she rudely told me “Yeah” and hung up on me.
I’m going somewhere else.

I was with Catherine Wade starting out last year and she went above and beyond to work with me. I was having issues with nightmares and terrors and wasn't able to get even a decent night of sleep. Within the first 2-3 months she was able to dial in on my medications and it was just dosage at that point. I was disappointed when she stopped doing afternoons, but Nate Mellum has been great so far. Since my medications have been mainly found he just listens to what I got to say about the past months we haven't met. Everyone that has helped or been helping me have been great.

If I could rate any lower I would.
They charged me an extra $100 with absolutely no listed reason. The person I was seeing for care made many creepy remarks to me after he realized I was 18 and not a minor. I missed an appointment, and since then he has refused to show up to any other appointments and will not refill my medications.

My rating for Philip Malinas MD & Associates is primarily due to my experiences with Okechukwu Olisa who practices there. My rating would be 1 star had I not had a more positive experience with a different practitioner at the location.
When Mr. Olisa was my practitioner he told me he prescribed one medication but prescribed a different one, leaving me to figure out what the pharmacy actually had for me. One time when I called the pharmacy, they told me he called and was incredibly rude to them while asking about my medication due to his misinformation.

I'm not very happy with this place. My son and I missed appointments back in September because of my own mental health and health issues. My faults not his. I was trying to get him appointment for the last 2 months and they told me to call in everyday I've been trying to do that but they tell me they always have nothing. When I asked them for meds they told me no that they have to see him. Understandable but because we missed one appointment they refused to give us a appointments. Kind of like a call in and wait to see if they have time for you.. not counting I have text messages from the psychiatry
