Services
Dr. Suba completed his residency training in Psychiatry from the University of Nevada School of Medicine where he served as Chief resident of his program. He is board certified by the American board of Psychiatry and Neurology. Dr. Suba is currently on faculty with the UNLV School of Medicine where he received the faculty of the year award in 2013, 2014, and 2016 from the Department of Psychiatry.

Let me start by saying that Dr. Cheng is an amazing caregiver, and in reading some of the reviews, I believe the other doctors here are as well.
HOWEVER. Scheduling an appointment is a nightmare. The call center seems to have no idea who they're answering calls for or how their phone systems work. Multiple times I have called and been placed on hold only to be disconnected or the call was not even answered. Now, when I do speak to a human, I'm told the office manager needs to approve scheduling me, due to some sort of flag on my account. I'm almost completely certain this person does not exist

Amazing and attentive doctor. Takes the time to really listen and is so caring and nice. He really helped me feel better. And despite having a completely booked schedule, Dr Suba took the time to personally call and see my little brother who was in a bad state. He is hands down one of the best and most dedicated doctors I've seen in Vegas. I highly recommend him! Thank you Dr. Suba you are a life saver, from Catherine.

I wish I looked at these reviews before making an appointment here. I waited 6 weeks for my first appointment. Called a few days prior as well as the day before my appointment to confirm information. Each time I called, I would be in the middle of speaking and they would just randomly place me on hold or transfer me to a voicemail mid sentence. She even confirmed Trina had all she needed to send in my updated prescription. Then after laughing at me, Trina never contacted me again. Only giving one Star because I have to at least give one in order to write a review. Worst psychiatry office I've ever booked an appointment with. Spent the last hour just trying to get logged onto the patient portal in order to get a link sent to my email in my phone for the telehealth appointment. Called the office four times was put on hold several times and then was told to call them back in 15 minutes. The medical staff is the worst. They have the worst attitudes and it takes over a week to get prescription refills since they never pick up the phone or call back after leaving multiple messages. If they ever pick up the phone, they’re so rude and make you feel like an inconvenience. Find a different place.

Never had an issue my psychiatrist is always easy to reach if I’m having issues with refills or scheduling. Dr.Fallia is really good at his job and recommends the best treatment plan. My mental health issues has been managed and I feel overall my psych issues are maintained. I never encountered an issue thus far with scheduling or speaking to someone when I have issues.

Everytime I have to deal with someone other than my psychiatrist... I feel the need to remove another star or two. Condescending, rude and have no compassion for the people "THEY HELP". I'm constantly being lectured about not getting angry at their ineptitude. Whether scheduling me for the wrong times, sending my prescription to the wrong pharmacy, or not following thru/ up with promises; my recommendation is to avoid this facility at all costs. Scheduled a virtual visit for my son . I was told he would be sent a zoom link right before meeting . Day of appointment, we didn't get a link so I went in line to verify I had date / right. We noticed they changed the appoint (without notifying us) for a month later . Next appointment time , again we are waiting for a zoom link . My husband recently had issues with his meds that were our fault. My son threw away the pharmacy bag and there went his meds. Dr was awesome totally believed my husband because he rarely even fills on time because he doesn’t abuse his meds and sometimes forgets to take them. Pharmacy was being a pain. Before I start with why I have given this place a 1 star review I want to say that Dr. Castillo is a very kind dr who will listen. Other than a few drs who do care about their patients and treat them like real people this is probably the worst place you could go for your mental health.

I was referred to the office by a friend of mine to this office for John.
I had a lot of apprehension because the status of my son's and my situations were a bit difficult. I can say this was honestly one of the biggest blessings we have found in NV. He has been able to identify and treat problems that were previously misdiagnosed and really helped with our quality of life.
He is so amazing with my family and I can't overstate enough how great he is.
I can honestly say he is literally the only person I fully trust with my family.
He gets the five star rating.

I am beyond disgusted with this facility. They lie more than they understand the definition of the truth. They have scheduled my son a total of 5 times and then have never sent meeting links yet Bill my insurance for a no call no show but when I call and speak to their phone staff they blame it on the provider, Jon Failla. They say he was running late, or he left early or he couldn't see my son. Whether that is true or not I do not know but how Absolutely unprofessional!! My son (14 years old) has been out of medication for months and now has been hospitalized yet they could care less for anyone

Jon is the absolute best. He cares so much about his patients . From working with my schedule (so I can have an appointment with him specifically) to clearing up issues at the pharmacy so that I can get my meds on time, Jon has always gone above and beyond. He makes me feel like an actual person and not just another client. he even remembers details we talk about without having to look at notes. John is the best for obtaining mental wellness. I shopped around Las Vegas and could not find a fit for my needs. He is the best therapist and I highly recommend him. I like the telehealth since it prevents me from driving in rush hour traffic. I hope they will always keep this service. Sometimes you have to understand that mental health providers are not a fast food service and people have real issues that need to be addressed. If you keep this in mind, it makes the late appointments understandable.

I have been going here for over two years-Trina Singleberry did not show up for one of our appointments via telehealth and will now not return calls or emails. My prescription has been denied and when you try to call you just get a never ending cycle of voicemails where no one ever calls you back. This place is a joke and a scam avoid at all cost.

Alliance is the worst. As I type this review, I am currently on hold - this is my third phone call to them in a week as I try to get a refill on a prescription I take for insomnia. I first called about it 6 days ago and was told (twice) "we'll leave a message for your provider"...still no answer from him, much less a refill. I cannot wait to find a new therapist and I can't warn you enough about this place. Worst excuse for health care I've seen, and in Nevada that's really saying something.

Another recent update. I was close to stable then had a manic incident. My doc decided to abandon my current med and start a new med, which interacted with two other meds I was taking (she didn't tell me or care, one was my heart) the new med made me crazy. I didn't know where I was who I was, forgot where I was going while I was driving! Dangerous, was swerving all over the road! When I told the doc, she didn't seem to care much, rushed me off the phone in two minutes or less, which was not her norm. She knows she did wrong. I'm moving on.

I was recommended to alliance mental health through my insurance. The staff was kind and courteous. They were able to schedule me around my work schedule. I see Dr Paul and there isn’t enough nice things I can say about him as a provider. He is professional. He listened to all my needs and took time to make sure I was getting the care I need. He’s been on time to all my appointments and found a medication regimen that really really works for me. I would recommend Dr Paul to everyone!!

After scheduling an appointment and confirming all information they returned calls saying they didn't have my information, needed me to upload but never sent the link to upload and then the time of my appointment I never received any kind of notification and called multiple times to speak with the scheduling dept to be told I was next in line and never to get a call. The staff was rude on the phone and unhelpful. And told me I was a no call no show and tried to reschedule me. Never make an appointment with their team and find a better provider.

The experience started out great, then it dovetailed into unprofessionalism and silly antics. I admit that times are difficult for providers during the pandemic, and coming up with solutions to still meet customer needs while being safe is critical as well. Yet when you claim to have a system set up in place, this system should work effectively. Alliance's doesn't, at least, not in my case.

I am SO happy to be working with Dr. Suba at Allaince. He was my former inpatient psychiatrist at Montevista hospital (before it died) and I actively sought him out when I moved to Vegas.
His compassionate, yet professional, approach to help me with my Bipolar Disorder's medication needs has made ALL the difference.
He is kind, patient, he listens, he is very interested in feedback about your medications and side effects- to help you get the bed help you need.

I'm getting pretty frustrated with this place, as getting my prescription refilled is a struggle every single time it's due for renewal. They say you need to come in for an appointment before they're able to get something renewed, and then can't get you in for another 2-3 weeks. I try to reach out to the medical assistant, and never, ever hear back from them. That's the part that frustrates me the most.
