The food here can be really good. However, on my most recent visit they missed the mark. I ordered their Mac and cheese with no bacon + broccoli. When it arrived at the table it had bacon. I'm a vegetarian--something I had mentioned to the server--so this was not a meal I was going to eat. I really hate to send food back because it's a waste and it's a pain for the people who work at the restaurant but it's Mac and cheese that costs like fifteen bucks after tax and tip. I let the server know and she said she would ask the kitchen to bring out a serving without bacon. About fifteen

I've been here twice now and am planning to go back in a couple weeks. The first time I went it was the weekend and it was very busy so prepare for that. The staff was still friendly and we didn't wait more than 15mins for our party of 5. The apple fritters they make on the weekend are a must have. Both their coffee and mimosas are good and I love the hash browns they serve with most of their breakfast options. I can't say anything about the dinner/wine tasting experience they offer as I haven't been but I would like to go when I have the opportunity. I think it is reasonably

Lovely brunch with very good food. Great outdoor patio dining. What made the meal was the excellent service by Shelby. She was attentive and professional.
So why only 4 Stars?? If a restaurant offers coffee they should make certain they have enough stock of cream for said coffee. I was so looking forward to a beautiful cup of coffee with cream, only to be offered milk. Shelby was horrified by this, I'm happy to report. As would any quality, professional server would be. Why would the owner humiliate staff by not having cream for coffee??

After finishing the Safari Fun Run, friends and I decided we earned a good brunch! Slate Street has amazing food, so off we went! We were seated immediately and our drink order was quickly taken. Mimosas and a cup of Joe. Drinks were served and I could not resist ordering what my friends ordered. The coffee looked amazing and believe me when I say it was!!!!
We each ordered the Katie breakfast and each ordered our eggs to our liking. All with red chili and bacon instead of ham. Plenty of time between our mimosas and coffee as we caught up on life since the pandemic.

This place was so intolerable by the first ten minutes. There’s only about 7 tables in what they’re capable of handling. This place lacks a menu worth the price. Even if understaffed, whoever is left are the back bone of disaster. The host and manager are rude for no apparent reason. Also the hosts hair was extremely oily and unsanitary. This place is just gross. Stuck up ugly people. Who wants that when they want a happy experience while out for a bite.

My family and I checked in for a party of 6. (Sunday @ 11am) Told it would be a 30-45 minute wait. I left my number and went for a walk. We returned and checked back to discover that the hostess wrote down an incorrect 8 digit telephone number and could not contact us. We were then told it would be 20 more minutes. We waited. And waited. While we waited outside we see tables left empty and unused. When asked if we could utilize these tables, we were told that they could not push 2 tables together because it would not be fair to other smaller parties. Umm ?!! So we waited more. After 30 (more) minutes

Beautiful, intimate little restaurant for brunch or lunch. Our server was not overly friendly, just polite and to the point. The Mediterranean Salmon was seasoned to perfection and the vegetables were incredibly fresh. They also allowed me omit the quinoa from the dish which was nice. I will certainly be back and look forward to doing a wine tasting there

First and foremost - excellent and accommodating staff. I have always been a fan of Slate Street for weekend breakfast, and today was my first time back since before Covid. I called ahead to see if there was a wait and spoke with a very nice hostess.
Vince, our server, was attentive and friendly, and the gentleman in the awesome floral shirt (possibly the floor manager?) was very helpful and friendly as well. The serving staff looked like they work well together as a team and there was always someone checking in on us.
I love that Slate Street uses Duran's red/green, their coffee from Red

Came here while on the hut looking for a breakfast spot that was open. I was in Albuquerque for the day as I had an early departure home. They were not open for dine in so I had to ordered food to go. I went inside thinking I could order in side, but I literally saw no one. Not even a host. I tried to call in an order and no one answered, so I ended up putting in an order online, and called shortly after and told them I was outside whenever they were finished. Ended up getting the french toast and the country fresh eggs. I was so hungry, I literally sat in the parking lot and ate. The food was

My first time here and I was very impressed and satisfied. We checked in (party of 3) and were advised it would be a 15 min wait and put our name down on the "list". We waited right outside the door for slightly over 15 min while more people came. Another party of 3 walked up and we're going to be immediately seated before us so we mentioned, what about us, we've been here over 15 minutes and put our name on a list. The other part was very nice and the hostess seated us instead, we're glad they did the right thing but should be more consistent with checking the "list

First time eating here today. Maybe the best steak and eggs I've ever had and definitely the best hash browns I've eaten in Albuquerque. Nice little patio and the interior is chic and welcoming. The pomegranate mimosa was yummy, and my waiter this morning, Alejandro, was just attentive to be nice but never bugged me. I really appreciate a good waiter and would like to say thank you to Alejandro for making my visit super enjoyable. Will definitely bring my friends and family and can't wait to try their other dishes.

Awesome restaurant located downtown Albuquerque. I like this spot for brunch, but I've been for dinner. More pricey for dinner, great food, exceptional ambiance, great place for a romantic dinner date or a sunday funday brunch with the homies. The style is more contemporary and hip.
Great spot for mimosas( original, prickly pear, grapefruit). Yummers and cheers!!

My friend had already been here before and had suggested this as a pre-birthday brunch for me. Parking wasn't bad, and upon arrival, it looked more like a cozy house than a restaurant. I have a friend that works here, but she wasn't working that Saturday (last weekend). We sat at the high top and everyone was so helpful at making sure we had everything we needed (and wishing me a happy birthday!). For Saturday brunch, it wasn't terribly crowded. I ordered the (orange) mimosa to start off with, although there were other flavors on special at the time (some kind of cherry). It was
