Patients tell us over and over how good Dr. Mays and Dr. Banks are at administering anesthetic. Patients continually tell us they hardly ever feel anything during anesthesia administration.

Dr. Banks is a perfect example of a dentist that cares for his patients and their best interest. As an adult with horrible experience with dental work in the past, and being afraid to even go; he made me feel comfortable and helped me set up a treatment plan that was in my best interest. Not his nor his pocketbooks. I can't wait to start getting my work done and my smile fixed.

I wish there were more stars! Going to the dentist is never easy but EVERYONE at Dr. Banks' office makes it a great experience! Dr. Banks is thorough, up to date on dental practice and technology and primarily concerned about taking care of the patient!!! The dental hygienists are super knowledgeable and very comforting to have around! Dr. Banks saved a tooth that would otherwise have had to have an implant (more money to him) but he CARED about me and my situation! BEST DENTAL EXPERIENCE I have EVER had! And I am up there in age LOL.

Easy to schedule and the front staff is great which is a big deal to me. Dr. Banks is thorough and very detailed. Took his time and you can tell he cares about his patients! He also invests in a lot of great technology for his office which I like. The dental hygienists have been great, easy to chat with and made the whole "experience" a breeze.

Dr. Banks is one of the nicest, most caring people you will ever meet.
He truly cares about each and every one of his patients.
For years I was going to another dentist because that was who my parents sent me to.
I finally decided it was time to find a dentist that I was comfortable with.
Am I glad that I found Dr. Banks!

If I could give more than 5 stars I would! First off, I came from a crappy dentist in San Francisco who gave me a crown using a technique from the 1950's and then kept "finding" issues in my mouth that would run me well over $1,500. I was referred to Dr. Banks and let's just say I am bummed it took me so long to go see him. I live in the East Bay and have absolutely no problem making the trip to Novato to visit. His staff is SO friendly, warm, welcoming, I mean what else could you ask for?

Love this office! The technology here is awesome. They have a 3-d printer for dental work. I've never needed it but the fact that they can print in the office and fix issues this way is so cool. Dr. Banks is the dr. I see and he's funny and good at his job. Makes going to the dentist a breeze. I'd definitely recommend him.

I cannot say enough great things about my experience with Dr Banks and his staff. I moved to Novato from Seattle so I did some research and he was right near me. I first went for cleanings and then advised that I had always wanted to do Invisalign. I had years of having crooked teeth and only getting worse. I just didn't feel like I could do anything since I was now in my 40's and the thought of getting "braces" felt so odd.

Because of my previous traumatic experience with dentists, I was petrified to schedule the follow up appointment to have Dr. Banks replace an old cap and filling. I was so scared, I almost searched for another dentist, just so I could get my teeth cleaned and prolong the work that needed to be done. I remembered how much I enjoyed my experience with Dr. Banks and his office staff during that first initial visit so; I decided to go back and give him a try to actually conduct the work that needed to be done.

My wife and I were very good customers of Dr Jake Banks but had to drop off because the Office staff was pretty bad and are not very knowledgeable when it comes to using Flex account/HSA accounts. I went for appointment and their was lot of ambiguity in their answers. They made me pay the cancellation fee even though I turned up to my appointment but could not go ahead with the treatment since they were unsure if my HSA card would pay it. I have seen lot of places where they give you a one time courtesy off but I did not like how the staff handled my situation. I just paid to get out of the office

As a teenager, I wore corrective braces on my teeth for 4 years. I am a 60 year old woman and back then technology was not what it is today. Through the years, because of the poor technology, my teeth began to expose roots, which became very sensitive to acidic fruits like pineapple and to cold beverages. I also had 20 year old veneers on my two front teeth.
When I met with Dr.Banks, I was interested in getting veneers on all of my bothersome front teeth

They use an Ipad to set up the new patient hassle.. makes it super easy. This place is more modern, and being a younger male ( 23 ) this place is real easy to come back to. Youll see once you go.
Dr Banks is a younger dude and easy to socialize with. Hes definitely the coolest dentist I have ever had. Use to, the dentist felt like the horror movies.. old freaky dude drillin in your mouth. Not anymore with dr banks lawl... thanks bro

This dentist was wonderful. He was thoughtful, knowledgeable and professional. Best part is that he's young and up on all the modern techniques. If I had started seeing him earlier, I might have avoided a couple of root canals. Even the cleaning was amazing. They were using all kinds of new tools to clean the teeth more efficiently.
He replaced cap and a couple filings, and my teeth look great. He takes the time to answer questions and explain things thoroughly He has a very warm and friendly personality. Loved everything about this dentist and his staff.

I can not say enough good things about Dr. Banks and his team!! I walked in there this morning (a new patient) with a toothache so intense I couldn't sleep last night. They diagnosed the issue and then had me come back tonight. He stayed late to get my tooth fixed and a new crown made. Amazing!

- digital xrays that showed the problem (that the old film xrays did not show yesterday at my previous dentist's)
- they design and make the crowns onsite, so only 1 visit and you're set
