I have been having issues with my feet and went in today for my exam. I was sent the registration form by email so that reduced the wait time before going in to see the Dr. I only had to provide my license and insurance card and I chose to pay my copay ahead of time (to avoid doing it on the way out later). After that, I was taken to the room, asked why I came in and my feet were X-Rayed and then I waited a few minutes to see the Dr. Dr. Glubo is very friendly and took the time to listen to my feet issues before deciding on the first course of action to get me feeling better. Every aspect of my visit and the care I received was top notch. From the friendly, helpful front desk staff to Dr. Rimawi and even the physical space itself, I could not have asked for more. Terrific experience and I fully recommend. I was going for a second opinion for a broken toe that wasnt healing after 2.5 weeks and Dr Rimawi took such better care of me. He took his time, made new x rays and taught me how to walk correctly in safe shoe and gave me a different way to buddy tape my toe, on top of some other advice. I felt so much better within a day, couldnt be happier to have found him.

A very nice and personable doctor who quickly diagnosed my issue. I have no issues with his medical care.
However, he did a very hard sell on a "top of the line" set of orthotic inserts that he claimed were the best in the market, lasted a long time, but unfortunately were not covered by insurance. I agreed and three weeks later, I got something that looked like my 10 year old made in the basement. They barely lasted a couple of months.
Meanwhile, another podiatrist ordered TWO sets of fantastic orthotics that were 100% covered by insurance and a year later still look like new.

Dr Glubo is pleasant and seems competent but he took a very long time to determine the problem with my toe. More than a year later he referred me to his surgeon colleague who knew he had to operate right away. The after-op therapy to bring the toe back to normal size was left with dr Glubo and again his effort was ineffective. I now have a far too fat ugly second toe which could have been avoided.

If you live in New York City or its boroughs, most folks are walking...a Lot! It is essential to have someone competent to look after your tootsies. For the last 25+ years I have put my feet in the care of Dr. Les Glubo. He makes sure that my feet are as happy as they can be with all the aches and pains that come from both urban living and growing old. He has never pressured me to have foot surgery and has always made helpful suggestions. If you are looking for a podiatrist with a lovely personality in a great midtown location - then Dr. Glubo is the one!!!

I have been seeing Dr. Glubo for several years - I have Type I Diabetes - and have been very happy with him and his practice. In fact, both my spouse and I see him, and we both think he is great:
- Convenient location @ 42nd and Lex, near major transportation and centrally located
- I normally arrange an 8 AM appointment, and at most wait a few minutes. Typically, I am in and out, and off to work, in 15 minutes
- Dr. Glubo himself is very personable and friendly. Although he focuses on me while I am there, I have had many conversations about life with him
- He has an excellent bedside manner

However I am unfortunately disappointed that the orthodic specifications we have discussed time and time again have not been carried through. I have been going to appointments every 6 weeks for 6 months and the story is the same, "the lab did not get the specifications right".
This last time before I had to take time out of my busy work day I asked the front desk person to ensure the specs were carried out and she responded "Dr. Glubo checks all the orthodics before we call the patient". I insisted she have him check them before I made
