I used to run to my mom's shop everyday after school just to start practicing on the mannequins hair, I loved when I perfected a new style, and my mom complimented it. She has been my biggest role model, and I aspire to be just like her some day or better. Togia is educated in and loves all aspects of hair design, but her favorite is weaving and natural hairstyles.
A style of hair braiding, in which the hair is braided close to the scalp in a continuous, raised row. Can be done with your own hair or with extensions. Crochet braids are an exciting, versatile, and protective style (faux locs, braids, twists, color, etc.) but without the commitment! It's much faster than getting an individual protective style and your scalp is left exposed to breathe, cleanse, and keep moisturized.

I initially visited based on the recommendation of a friend to clean up my tapered cut. I had a wonderful experience from start to finish. My haircut and wash and go were beautiful! I was very pleased with the service I received . I purchased their daily moisturizer, which I love. It leaves my hair soft and conditioned. The salon is clean and comfortable with a relaxed atmosphere.
The prices are not for the faint of heart but I believe that it's worth it. Thank you New Beginnings!!

Very sanitary and relaxing environment; however, their services are severely overpriced. I highly recommend that you let them give you the price before you start. I believe in paying good money for quality service but their work is not that great and definitely not worth the cash. Even though I feel the way I feel, I kept going because the location was convenient for me. I finally decided to stop going when I had an issue I had to discuss with the manager. She had an extremely condescending attitude during our talk which I did not appreciate. I will not be returning because that young woman was

I will like to leave a honest review. The cleanliness and customer service is excellent. The business aspect is dishonest. I booked a service for one price and was tripled charge for all my services. I will say that I do have my hair service by professionals so I’m familiar with pricing. My silk press was $155. Only. If I was charged this for all my services that would be understandable but I was not. I was charged $110 for a trim and my hair was previously trimmed 6 weeks ago. I was advise to have a scalp treatment and I asked for the price and was told $25 and was charged $45. The hydration

This was my first time and I had a very pleasant experience. I met with the owner Pauline for consultation and she took notes about what I was looking for. I wanted a "New Beginning" (cut, color, steam treatment
then wash and go) and that is indeed what I received. Everyone there was friendly, the vibe and energy was nothing but positive. The atmosphere was warm and inviting. The prices are pretty steep so I don't see myself going back often due to affordability but I will however be back! I was very happy with my end results.

New Beginnings offers a beautiful and clean environment, they are true professionals when it comes to loc care, and I’ve been very satisfied with the coloring services as well. The staff and ambiance are great.I had my hair done at this Solon about 5 times and had gifted 2 of my loved ones to a “New Beginnings” experience. They also loved the quality of services.

Came here for the first time to get my starter locs. Everything from beginning to end was amazing and timely. Beautiful space that’s clean and has a good vibe. Really great service. Let me start of by saying the salon is beautiful and the receptionist was very nice. I went in for a consultation so I can get my hair trimed. During the consultation the lady examined my hair and said I needed to get a steam treatment and scalp detox which I agreed to and went along with it even though I had just washed my hair 2 days prior so my scalp was good. Detox $45 steam treatment $95 definitely not worth it, the trim cost me $105 all which I agreed to. But now here is where they trick you.. little did I know they were going to charge me an extra $145 just so they can wash all this treatment

It’s definitely pricier than a few other natural salons I’ve been to, but it’s worth it. Pauline is gifted with the cuts, the whole team is kind and professional, and the ambiance is super relaxing. There’s even a juice bar/healthy food cafe upstairs.
I’ve gotten my best cut to date here and a friend I referred said the same. So save your money (if you have to lol) and check them out. You won’t be disappointed! Also, plan to spend the day :)
