Napoleon Bakery
It all began with a young farm girl and a professional Jai Alai player from the Basque Country in the north of Spain. Food and family are fundamental parts of the Basque tradition, and they decided to bring a little of that to the states in the 1970's. Arantza, the head matriarch of the family, began by making chorizos and breads in her tiny home kitchen using a manual meat grinder.

After seeing the demand for a taste of truly home cooked foods, they decided to make the move to West Palm Beach and open Napoleon Bakery in 1986. Their purpose is to bring a little taste of the Basque Country to you, without having to travel across the world to get to it.

Don't even plan to go. They are always closed. I was excited to eat spanish food and once I got there they only take online orders. What kind of service is that for a bakery? Will never lose my time again.

Their schedule is useless. They have it displayed in a couple of different places and it doesn't mean anything. It's a hit or miss if you find it open during their "open" hours :( Your only chance is to stop if you happen to drive by and you see it's open. Not a good way of doing business.

I was so disappointed when I called about a wedding cake. The baker wouldn't even let me have a word in and just kept telling me to come in a week before the wedding. I have heard great things, but couldn't believe the lack of customer service.

Great local bakery. So far, I've only tried one of their special cakes, and it was absolutely fresh and delicious - one of the best I've ever had. It was still curbside only, but, that was fine. Support this great local business if you can.

Napoleon Bakery is a fine staple in West Palm Beach. It is a charming, old-fashioned bakery with fine offerings of baked goods, homemade sausages and Spanish specialties. The lovely woman who owns this wonderful establishment is Castilian. She has all the European charm one would expect, and works very hard to deliver tasty and special treats for her customers. I order her special fresh fruit, cream and rum cake for occasions, and it's the most heavenly thing around! One must order it one day in advance and I highly recommend it for your party. She can write a message on it, too. It

Would give zero stars.
I ordered a Tres Leches cake for a coworker's party and it was horrible. People who've bought here knew something was off. It was dry to the taste, no moisture and off the bat you could tell the fruits were old and prune like. I contacted the store and told them everything, the lady on the phone didn't care. It was probably pre- made, lying around. Take the risk if you want. I'm never purchasing from here again!

I ordered a strawberry shortcake for my moms birthday and it was soooo delicious!! Best strawberry shortcake I've ever had. It also had a little rum in it which added an amazing flavor to the cake. I will definitely be ordering here from now on. Only thing that caught me off guard was the wrong name on the cake lol but it was no big deal, the taste of the cake was worth it!

Whether you're looking for some authentic sweet treats, world class fresh breads, high quality meats from Spain to France. This place offers all of that plus, various fresh made tapas. It's a family owned and run business. The Lady that owns it is also the hardest working and kind people I ya e ever known. Absolutely a gem of a food spot. Take some spicy hand made chorizo home with you you will thank me later.

Napoleon’s bakery is “old world richness” to the senses - it is a fantastic place to have desert and coffee or for various meats and delicacies. You can eat inside or outside in a quaint, shaded side yard. Highly recommended.

This little hole in the wall bakery is amazing. So much variety and the food is amazing. I had a fish sandwich, paella, some crab salad tapa, cafe con leche and some baked goods. Everything was delicious and well priced. I love the look of the place, looked so authentic. Great place for locals. Small place but definitely worth checking out.

WOW
How do i even start?
This place is absolutely magical.
I discovered this bakery not too long ago, after moving to Florida on a search for local must-go-to's. The cute and tiny orange Spanish inspired building and outdoor decor caught my interest ever since i saw it for the first time driving down Dixie Hwy.I decided to give it a try during my lunch break one day and i fell in love. As soon as you enter the bakery, you instantly feel you are in either Europe or in Pastry heaven, whichever one you feel at that moment.
A display full of pastries, pies, sandwiches, tapas, cured meats, cheeses

Napoleon you deserve a round of applause, per usual you delivered. I threw a graduation party in Rockledge FL for my son and his best friend of 20 years. These wonderful boys had only one request, charcuterie from Napoleon's! In attendance, my friends, many of which are your patrons, along with a host of new candidates! Brought with me your spicy and mild chorizo, French liver paté, spicy sliced salami and prosciutto. Look at these beautifully abundant platters, they were a total hit! Thanks a million!

This Spanish bakery just north of the corner of Forest Hill Boulevard and Dixie Highway is a very magical place. Full of wonderment and goodness. As a family-owned bakery, there's certainly a very warm and personable vibe you receive upon entering through the door on Dixie. This is soon replaced by the overwhelming sense of not knowing what to order, based on all the tasty pastries viewed on the left-hand side through the clear displays.

While I did not order any of their hot specials such as the paella or croquettas, I did order one of their dulce de leche meringue and a chocolate-creme

Great little Spanish bakery, first time here but I will be back. You can order items to go or sit down to eat. Sitting space is limited but available. The decor of the space does make you feel like you are stepping into a bakery somewhere in Spain! Cash only, so plan ahead.

Lots of Spanish food stables available such as Paella and Tortilla. I ordered the Tortilla with Chorizo in it and the Pasta with Chrorizo in it. Both were flavorful and everything here appears to be home made. Portions are plentiful, I took home leftovers from both items I ordered and left full.

Casual friendly atmosphere

This is the greatest Spanish restaurant/bakery that I have ever visited in the United States. I've been in Spain a couple of times and this place really resembles what a original Spanish atmosphere is about. I 100% recommend this place if you want to try great Spanish paella, friendly customer service, and amazing Spanish deserts. Also, you won't believe their prices.

Grandma is in town which means we look for bakeries in our travel about town. While at Cityplace in West Palm we decided to track down Napoleon Bakery which is south on Dixie Highway.

This is a small quaint bakery that offers many Latin specialties along with a deli counter also for limited sandwiches. The owners were present as well as family and all items appeared fresh. The even provided samples of their products like cheesecake. Delicious !

We left with half a dozen items to try. Owners were more than fair in price. They even provided a free small item as it was frozen and they felt

I could not wait to sit down and write this review!!

After reading reviews on Yelp and a great recommendation from a friend at work, I just knew I had to try it!

First of all, its located right on Dixie Hwy right before you reach Forest Hill Blvd heading south... I say this because I ended up passing the lot and had to make a u-turn--it's a whole thing!! But in all honesty, its worth the u-turn!!

The exterior of the restaurant is uniquely designed and beautifully colored, draws you right in.

Napoleon Bakery is family owned and they treat you like family once you walk in... To the right
