We are committed to providing the highest quality of care for anyone presenting to our Emergency Departments. The physicians of The Emergency Group, Inc. (TEG) manage two of the busiest Emergency Departments in the state of Hawaii. The Queen's Medical Center at Punchbowl is also the only designated level I trauma center in Hawaii.
We work in tandem with Emergency Medical Services (EMT & MICT paramedic) programs, often supervising care even before patients arrive. Our physicians are heavily involved in teaching Resident physicians from various training programs and medical students of the University of Hawaii John A. Burns School of Medicine.

Queen's is the largest hospital in the State of Hawaii and the only Level I Trauma Center with an ED census of 65,000 per year at its main location in Honolulu and a volume of 60,000 per year at its location in West Oahu.
Dr. Han Park received his Bachelor of Arts degree from Columbia College, Columbia University, New York, and his Doctor of Medicine from the Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons, New York. Dr. Park currently serves as TEG's President, having previously served as Managing Director of Finance.
Participation with an insurance plan means that we have signed an agreement with the insurance company to abide by their rules, and accept their fee schedule for payment. If you have a deductible or a co-payment, we are bound by contract to bill you for that amount. At TEG, we try to participate with nearly all major insurance plans in Hawaii, including Medicare, Medicaid, HMSA, and many others.

Went to the ER on 3/31. Got a collections letter on 5/13 that I didn't pay a $20 bill. Called the Emergency Group and they said they sent 1 invoice and it's overdue. First, they sent it to the wrong address which they say they got from QMC. Confirmed with QMC that they have my correct address. Secondly, they sent 1 invoice and then straight to collections? Horrible customer service. If I had a choice, I'd never use these group again.
