Services
Central Florida Cares fund a services network comprised of many organizations offering various levels of treatment options. These options include prevention, interventions, crisis support, residential treatment and outpatient services for adults, children, as well as families, to include opioid and medication assisted treatment.
Central Florida Cares Health System, Inc. contracts with community agencies (referred to as Network Providers) to provide an array of mental health and substance use services for adults and children. When you or a family member need mental health and/or substance use services, the first step is to contact one of the Network Providers in your area.
Central Florida Care's Compliance Quality Improvement (CQI) team is responsible for developing, implementing, and quality assurance of the network with priority given to those areas that impact persons served and their families. As such, CFCHS systematically monitors and evaluates subcontractor services with the aim of improving the process, outcome, and efficiency of integrated healthcare services delivered to consumers.
MENTAL HEALTH DISORDERS AFFECT a person's mood and behavior. Many people may experience some level of mental health related symptoms throughout their lives. A mental health condition becomes a concern, when the symptoms cause distress, affecting the ability to function with day-to-day activities to include school, work, and social settings and/or in relationships.
SUBSTANCE USE DISORDER is a disease that occurs when a person is unable to stop using a legal or illicit drug or prescribed medication. The drug use affects the person's brain causing significant impairment in meeting major responsibilities at home, work, or school. Not meeting obligations and work responsibilities, or cutting back on social or recreational activities because of drug use.
