Our area encompasses Sea Ranch, Gualala and Anchor Bay. These miles of coastline are bordered by giant Redwoods and divided by the Gualala river, with fascinating beaches all along the way. The town of Gualala (next door to Sea Ranch) hosts a variety of shops which should be able to outfit you for whatever you require, or forget.

Also full kitchen most days (call for hours) offering great Mexican choices, fish or chicken tenders and our favorite french fries.

We were lucky enough to have stayed at the "Sonoma Treehouse " it is a big beautiful home with many bedrooms! Lots of windows to view tall redwood trees. The house had everything we needed for a fun group . The patio and large table were wonderful to sit at for dinners and enjoy a chat with our morning coffee. The hot tub and hammock were also a wonderful addition, although when renting I normally try to get a house with a hot tub. This house was very inviting and we all had a wonderful time! I hope we can stay there again. The owners have done a wonderful job of stocking the house with

In December I stayed at Casita Hideawy and LOVED IT!!!!
Everything is brand new, clean and perfectly appointed.
The view is beautiful and so calming being among the Red Woods.
The kitchen was.fully equipped with everything you can imagine or will need.
All the darling little touches through out the house to make you feel right at home. Just lovely.
The mattresses were like sleeping on a cloud, and the towels were luxurious and soft.
I adored my stay there and did not want to go home.
It’s the best place I’ve stayed while being at Sea Ranch and will definitely stay there again.

We are very dissatisfied and disappointed with the way Erin and the folks at Coasting Home treated us upon check out. We checked out on a Sunday, and nobody answered as they were closed, since we needed to report a small piece of wood that came undone in the bathroom’s cabinet. I left the message, but to our surprised, they charged us 100 dollars to glue it back. The jacuzzi never got hot enough, and we called twice. Very unfortunate and we don't recommend booking through them.

I had the pleasure of staying at “Casita Hideaway” at Sea Ranch over the
Christmas season last year. It was absolutely, lovely, enchanting, peaceful, and private.
The house is fully equipped with anything you might need, as well as cozy and very comfortable.
I will stay there again when it is available through Coasting Homes.
They always take great care of their customers!

In 2016 our family had the opportunity to spend the Summer at Sea Ranch, where we own some vacant land. Our realtor referred us to Cathleen at Coasting Home. She quickly honed in on our preferences and within a couple of days was able to identify a willing owner with exactly the type of house and location we sought, and within our budget (which was limited). So we were able to spend the Summer at Sea Ranch! We greatly enjoyed the house and Sea Ranch, and found Coasting Home to be very helpful during our stay. The Coasting Home office staff are fantastic! I had to find a place that not only was dog friendly for two large dogs, but could also accommodate an elderly person with a walker. They found Anam Cara and it was everything we needed, including having a fenced garden area for the dogs to lie in while I read the paper on the porch. The only issue was that their housekeeping staff isn't quite up to my standards. The kitchen counter was sticky when I arrived and there were ants crawling around. I went down a towel with some soap and wiped it down, followed it with water and the ants were gone

We have rented vacation homes from Coasting Home twice now. One is Ebbtide and the other is Sea Gate. Both houses are just lovely; perched right on the bluff so you have unobstructed views of the waves breaking. The homes are well-maintained and contain everything you would need for your time away. The prices are reasonable, and the staff is very pleasant to work with. E-mails are answered quickly and phone calls are answered or returned within one business day. They also have an app that can be very helpful when you are finding the property or want to look at information about the house

Serendipity is the best rental home we have ever stayed in! We were there for two nights at the beginning of November and I cannot understate how well-appointed the home is. It is perfect for two couples and even two families. The views and hot tub are super and one can walk easily right into town and restaurants!!!

My friends and I rented a wonderful house called the Independence on the 4th of July weekend and it was fantastic! The house was equipped with everything you may need, plus it had a pin-ball machine, and an old school arcade game (frogger). We had such a great time. The area was beautiful and just relaxing. I highly recommend it.

We've rented two homes so far with Coasting Home, Serendipity and most recently, Far Niente. Both of these homes were great! All the amenities (and then some), very clean, fantastic ocean views, ber comfy, and well stocked kitchens! Best part of renting these homes was the pure ease of doing so. The staff at CH is phenom, they make it easy, make you feel welcome, and make you do next to nothing upon departure. This place rents vacation houses in Sea Ranch/Gualala/Anchor Bay. The staff is great - especially Jennifer. The house we rented was fantastic - lots of clean linens, a more stocked kitchen than many vacation homes I've rented, great deck furniture. It certainly doesn't hurt that the area is gorgeous and it's pretty amazing to sit in a hot tub in the late afternoon sun (we city folk had forgotten what the sun actually was!) and stare out over the ocean.
