Nestled right on an ocean cliff just off California's beautiful Highway 1. Stand on the deck as low tide reveals the rocks where abalone abound. Crashing of the surf is always on hand and steps down to the ocean are located just across the driveway. Whales may be seen during their annual migrations, and sea lions reside on two small islands just up the coast.
Cabin 5 is rustic and cozy. Enjoy toasting marshmallows over the fire pit or capping off your day sitting on the deck with a glass of wine while watching the sun go down. Both bedrooms, bathroom and sauna have wonderful white water views. This Redwood Cabin is furnished with down comforters and pillows.

I stayed here for two nights for my birthday in September 2019 and it was everything I hoped it would be. I had heard about this property for the past 4-5 years through other Yelpers, but this was the first time I got the opportunity to stay here.
Cabin 5 on the Bluff is really the perfect romantic getaway or time with family for a special occasion. Wake up to waves, go to sleep to waves, relax in the coziest of comfy little cabins. I only wish I hadn't waited so long to check Cabin 5 out. The views are amazing, and the surrounding towns are so fun to… explore. Thank you Richard and Shelley - you guys have quite a beautiful and unique gem on the California coast. We will be back!

On the recommendation of a friend I have had Cabin 5 on my lists of go to's for some time. While out with friends one afternoon it came up in discussion - having had a few drinks by this time I quickly pulled out my phone and showed it off through the Home Away app. Another drink later dates were picked and my booking was complete. Usually drunken decisions don't fare well with me - but this will go down as one of the best decisions I've ever made - sober or otherwise.
