Five stars and two thumbs up to this Ramona salon! I was lucky enough to get my hair cut by Tracy, one of the owners. I am new to town and now I've found her, I won't need to go anywhere else! Everyone that works there has a positive attitude and they make you feel welcome immediately. My hair hadn't been cut in almost two years, and she did a beautiful job. I feel younger. Thank you Tracy!

Amanda is very professional and does an amazing job on my acrylic nails and manicures! I am kinda OCD and she is super clean and uses the best of nail products- top of the line. Love her and love the entire Salon. Super sweet and professional girls!

Awesome salon! My mom, brother, and I have all gotten our hair done here by Kim Rivas! She did a fantastic job on all of us, especially my mom’s hair, doing highlights and lowlights as well as a cut and styling. The atmosphere is great and we highly recommend!

I was extremely impressed by this salon's staff and by the owner, Tracy. She was very professional and kind and was very understanding when I called to get a last minute appointment because I had gotten a new job and also I have very limited time to do any self-care as am responsible for caregiving for my medically complex adult son with Intellectual disabilities. Tracy graciously went ahead an worked me in and it appeared seamlessly and I love my haircut! I really needed my hair cut after having "Covid Hair" - no cut for months and with my new job and my sons needs this was so perfect

This salon is very clean and most of the staff seem very nice. However, while I was waiting I overheard Tracy berating one of the ladies for the way her hair was styled and then continued to complain about her eyebrows after the woman left. Deb did my hair and did a great job. Unfortunately I won't be back after this experience. I will not support those that are not helpful and supportive of others. After hearing this conversation all I could think about was what Tracy was saying about me after I left the salon.

The atmosphere int he shop is lovely. All personnel are helpful and delightful people. I have used several of the services offered at Moxie's. Amanda does my nails and I have never had any issues. She does an excellent job and even pushed me to get adventurous with my colors. My student always comment on what lovely colors my nails are. I also visit Debbie for my hair. She is the very best colorist I know. again I contently receive comments on the color and cut on my hair. I would highly recommend any of the service providers at Moxie's.

My son was turned away at this establishment. We were told that his hair was "dreaded"... it was not. We were referred to a more ethnic salon down the hill. Instead, we went a few blocks to Ramona Cuts. They did a great job AND it was fast, more affordable, and racially/family friendly. I attempted to explain our negative experience to another stylist at Moxie, and it was disregarded.

I called on LaborDay because I tried to layer my hair myself and it was a disaster. Tracy answered -even tho they were closed and she opened the shop just for me. She gave me the best haircut and taught me all kinds of little secrets to protect my hair. I am so impressed. She is going to color my hair this weekend and I am so excited.

I've been wanting to do something fun with my hair for a long time and had decided to get, are you ready for this... A PERM! I wanted beachy wavy curls that would be low maintenance and high style. Tracey totally knocked it out of the park! My hair looks great, is still soft and I love it!! And the cost was very reasonable.
Even my regular hairstylist, who hasn't done a perm since beauty school, told me my hair

Tracy takes care of you. From the tlc you start with from her assistant washing your hair to the attention to detail Tracy gives your cut, it's always a treat to go see her. I know she does a great job for women with styles and treatments. She did my daughter's Brazilian Blowout to rave reviews. I haven't needed one of those but she takes just as good of care with my simple men's cut. She's got my recommendation from the simple to the omplex.
