Practitioners of acupuncture and Chinese medicine have used this noninvasive treatment method to help millions of people become well and stay well. Acupuncture promotes natural healing. It can enhance recuperative power and immunity, support physical and emotional health, and improve overall function and well-being.
While acupuncture may seem like a new alternative modality for sports injuries it has in fact been a primary treatment in sports related injuries for centuries. Much of Chinese Medical first aid came from the Shaolin Monasteries where monks practiced Kung Fu as a type of "moving meditation."
As the monks became famous for their martial arts fighting prowess, it became fashionable to attack a Shaolin Monk when they came out of the monastery on their begging rounds, to show your fighting ability. The monks would reluctantly defend themselves. They would beat the attacker up, bring them back to the monastery, set their bones, and treat their sprains and strains and bruises in an attempt to lessen their karmic debt.

Dragon Rising is a place to feel instantly welcomed. Upon entering the quaint and clean Old Fair Oaks office you are greeted by either Erin or Sharon, who are both friendly and helpful. Scheduling is a breeze online, by phone or in person. Both Bob and Christopher practice with patience, understanding, humor and healing. They meet or exceed all of your needs and have you feeling better in no time. My only complaint was they didn’t have a purse hook in the bathroom, and they even remedied that!

I was suffering a headache that seemed to be stemming from my sinuses for 4 days straight after traveling from Kentucky. I tried homeopathics, oils, decongestants, netti pot, ibuprofen, and allergy meds. Nothing worked until I received acupuncture and CBD oil with camphor to my sinuses. I would have been miserable on my flight home. Thank you Rising Dragon!! You saved me!!

Bob McAllister does the traditional approach to acupuncture and it works! Also a very professional office setting. I tried a different person a few years back in Cameron Park and she was of no help. But I wanted to give it another try and this is been very effective for migraines and allergies this Spring. I highly recommend Dragon Rising.
