I had a great experience with everyone on their staff, I've never had glasses before so I was nervous going in but within 5 minutes of being in there they wiped all my nerves away and within 30-45 minutes helped me figure out exactly what is wrong with my eyes as well as explain it clearly to me. I plan on going back for any future eye care I may need.

Great frame selection (and top level brands) for regular lenses, and sunglasses! Got myself one pair of each, and am very pleased with my purchase.
Easy experience, clean office, and definitely will be coming back with my family for their glasses.

I've really enjoyed my visits to this office. The receptionist (Kristina) is extremely helpful, polite and knowledgeable. She and Dr. Bhakta are so patient with you even if you have a lot of questions. They make sure you're comfortable during your appointment! Their selection of glasses is also kept relatively up-to-date and I always like looking and trying them on. They have very stylish and cute frames! If you're trying on a pair, don't be afraid to ask for the staff's opinion either. I would highly recommend this place if you're looking for eye care.

Stratford is an optical gem located in the industrial side of Hayward!
From the moment you walk in, you’re greeted warmly by the wonderful employees and automatically feel welcome! Kristina helped me with choosing the right contacts for my astigmatism, as I’ve been wearing glasses for the past 5 years. I was hesitant to make the jump due to the fear of poking my eyes every time, but she educated me how to insert the contacts and assured me that they would be beneficial for my lifestyle(active,outdoors type)!
I’ll definitely be coming back for the quality of both the customer service, and

Dr. Bhakta was very thorough and answered all my 5000 questions. I appreciated it.
Kristina was also very patient and amazing at picking out glasses that would match my face and my personal style. She stayed late to help me pick the perfect pairs!

I came in on a Saturday to get a quote for some prescription glasses that I needed done. The young lady at the front desk was exceptionally helpful. She was very informative, professional, and quick. She made the trip very simple for me. I merely provided her my own frames that I wanted to use, let her check my PD, paid for my balance and I was done. I would also like to mention that although I've worked in an Optometry office before and I already knew everything she was saying, I really loved how she explained every process that she was helping me with. That is very helpful for people who do not

Here, we are treated like family. We love Dr. Bhakta and really glad we found her a year ago. She helped my dad tremendously when he was visiting last summer and of course, takes great care of me & my daughters' eye health. Always a pleasure visiting her clinic and the staff is always accommodating and friendly.
