Dr. Spaulding is a Board Certified Pediatric Dentist, a Diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry and an Assistant Clinical Professor of Pediatric Dentistry at USC. He also serves as the Dental Director for Orange County's largest non-profit pediatric dental center, Healthy Smiles for Kids of Orange County, providing valuable services to those in need.
Dr. Ariarad has been providing personalized orthodontic care for children, adolescents and adults in the South Bay since 1998. Her practice philosophy is to conservatively and most efficiently determine the best course of treatment for her patients in order to achieve the best long term esthetic and functional results.
A: The American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry recommends no later than the child's first birthday for their first visit to the pediatric dentist. This is not only to accomplish an oral examination, but to also provide valuable information to assist parents with the care of their child's teeth. Definitely recommend this place. I was told by a previous dentist that my son had several cavities. I decided to get a 2nd opinion here at Torrance pediatric dentistry and was in complete shock when the dentist told me that my son had zero cavities!! Overall my experience was great here. Clean office with nice staff. Glad I discovered this dentist.

Super excellent DMD and staff. I'm so happy we had a chance to come here instead of the other pediatric dentist we started going to. Just to give everyone a little background, my kids were already seeing a pediatric dentist but I felt cornered to do something we didn't really want so I started looking for another pediatric dentist. I'm an RN in Torrance and we work with pediatric dentists in our OR. Having a large family you tend to find reliable dentists and orthodontics for your kids. Originally with Greeenstadt the facility changed hands with Spaulding and Ariarad taking over. They updated the facility. They upped their game and handling of their younger clients. It was a huge upgrade.
Open during covid19 they really had our kid's best interests at heart. All my kids come here. And I would like to think their current smiles are in part because of their good work.
I recommend them to all parents who ask for a good dentist/ortho referral.

Love these folks!! Very accommodating, flexible, fun and really good at what they do. My two teen sons and I have gotten braces, and they have enabled us to have back to back appointments, coordinate our care on a family basis, and really make sure we are happy and know what to do to keep ourselves healthy and with a straight smile. I have and will continue to refer people to Dr Sepi and Torrpdo!

I love this dental office! I took my 12 month old daughter for her 1st dental check-up, 2 weeks later she had an accident involving her front teeth. It was a Saturday afternoon and in a panic I called the clinic after hours line, left a message and within minutes, Dr. Spaulding personally called back. I sent pictures of the injury and he answered all my questions putting our family at ease in a stressful moment. He worked us into his schedule the first thing on a Monday morning. After a few minor hiccups with scheduling my daughters surgery, we were able to finally schedule it and the surgery was a success. The anesthesiologist called me ahead of time to go over instructions on how to prepare my daughter for surgery, he explained the risks and expectations. Dr. Spaulding did an amazing job. When we got there, he went over the treatment plan once again before proceeding with the surgery. The procedure went well without any complications. We have been with Dr. Spaulding for the past 3 years or so. I have 3 kids and they are all young 3, 5, 6 yrs old. My 6 year old has Down syndrome and it has been very difficult to get her to cooperate and allow everyone at the office to check on their teeth. Everyone has been so patient and caring and always followed our lead. All of this has allowed for my daughter to finally feel more at ease and get her cleaning done. Took my 4yo for her FIRST dental visit here. Chose this practice because of the positive Yelp reviews! Prepared her by watching Daniel Tiger dentist visit episode and a few YouTube videos with kids her age in them. When we arrived, they were organized and friendly! They time visits so that we're Covid safe. John greeted us and took us back to the super bright, clean, and cheerful exam space. He was GREAT explaining the tools and giving directions.
