In these times, it's important to know that where you're going is not only good at what they do, but also safe in their practices. Nakia's policies are discussed before entering her salon, and despite providing services that prevent social distancing, they are done in the safest manner possible, adding extra cleaning processes and wearing masks and shields during services, and being sure clients are wearing masks when services allow.

I went here for the first time yesterday and being in the shop truly made my day. Little did everyone know, I had just come from a very heavy doctors appointment. Coming in the shop to get waxing done was an amazing experience. She even recommended products for me to use after my appointment to aid in personal skin goals. Nakia and her staff were friendly, professional and genuinely seemed to be in good spirits. I will definitely return and plan to even get my nails and toes done here very soon! My first at this nail salon & spa, and I am thrilled I found this hidden gem. The quality of the work and customer service received from Jade was impeccable. Surely, best nail salon & spa I have been too and the owner makes her own body scrub which will have your body feeling like a new born baby.

I visited this nail salon for the first time this evening. The service was the best I've experienced since moving to Maryland almost 3 years ago. My nail professional was Jade Day and she worked magic on my nails. She took her time and she was very detailed. The atmosphere was welcoming and enjoyable. I will definitely be returning and will be scheduling appointments for some of the other services they offer.

Today is my third time getting a wax with Nakia and the experience is phenomenal every time. She is always patience, gentle, and highly informative of vaginal hygiene. She even was able to treat a stubborn ingrown hair I had. It healed beautifully without a dark mark. I highly recommend Nakia to anyone, whether it is your 1st experience or 100th!

After tonight's nail services, I had to write a review. I have been coming to Polished for several years and have always had fantastic services. Jade provided my services tonight. I promised that I would allow her to pick my colors, this time, since I'm a creature of habit. She chose a beautiful color and I asked to add an accent nail. She recommended doing an ombré design with the color I chose. It turned out beautifully. She is very professional, engaging and talented. She pays attention to detail and shares knowledge about nail care. My feelings are the same for the other ladies

I had magnificent service at Polished! Went Christmas eve and everyone was so pleasant, as soon as I walked into the door i was greeted with warm service , and the stylist who've done my nails was just as gentle and caring , I believe her name was Shavaeona, great conversation, great energy, great smile, I would always come back to Polished. :)

Services received: eyebrow threading. L'Oréal was pleasant and personable. She tended to my eyebrows. She did an amazing job. The environment was relaxing. She offered me a tissue after she finished. I point that out because I've visited others for threading, after they finish, they give you a wannabe massage and push your head up to let you know you're done. That lacked the personable touch. L'Oréal provided that personable touch for me that I didn't know I was looking for. Before I left she set me up with two future appointments so we can continue to train my eyebrows

I visited Polished today after seeing recommendations in a Facebook group that I'm in. I must say I had a really pleasant experience. I was able to schedule my appointment online and received confirmation once the appointment request was accepted. As I was making my way to my appointment I received a call from Nakia who let me know that she was running behind due to traffic but she was on her way, I thanked her for calling as it was truly appreciated. The location itself is off of liberty road in a small center but parking is available. The inside of the salon was nice and clean. Nakia provided

The atmosphere of this business is amazing! Everyone here is so personable. I received multiple services and they were very accommodating. I was preparing for my engagement shoot. Let me first say this shop is VERY CLEAN! They take pride in making sure their products are sanitized and organized. I received a silk wrap from Nakia. It was BEAUTIFUL! I have been going to Nakia for about three years. The first time she did my nails, we instantly clicked, and I felt like we were old friends. I like the fact that even though I get acrylic, it's clear that Nakia's primary focus is the health of my nails. I love that we can challenge each other to think outside of the box when it comes to my nails. We also have valuable discussions regarding my skin, and other health concerns. Make sure to book your appointments on Style Seat or look out for availability on Instagram. Nakia offers a wide range of services that includes full body waxing and facials. Oh my god, Nakia at Polished is an absolute magician. I've never had a better manicure in my life. She was super knowledgeable about skin and nail care, asked me all kinds of questions about my preferences that I've never been asked at any salon, and I left with soft, nice smelling hands and perfect nails. She was so nice and funny and she even gave me a little astrology lesson! It was like hanging out with a friends. I will definitely be back for all my nail care needs; if she can make MY fingers look this good I cannot wait to see what she can do with toes!

Nakia is the best nail tech I have meet.
I won't go anywhere else after trying a pedicure with rubs with her. Professional and detailed. Will come back the following day for a manicure. Definitely five stars!!! ^_^
The only drawback is the small space, and hopefully she can move to a big suite in the future.

Customer service goes a loooong way with me, and Nakia delivered! Even though Polished is a "by appointment only boutique," Nakia went out of her way to fit me in during my lunch break. The boutique is cozy and clean and there were plenty of polish colors to choose from. In addition, Nakia is knowledgeable and friendly, and she does a GREAT job. I plan to make Polished a regular part of my pamper routine.
