Dr. Thomas Telander has been practicing dentistry for almost 30 years. He values the relationships he's built with his patients and especially likes hearing about their lives and families. Working one-to-one with each person, Dr. Telander helps them develop optimal dental health and beautiful smiles.
Dr. Sachin Mehta has practiced dentistry for the past 16 years. He is dedicated to helping patients of all ages work towards better health, and doing so with whom he considers the best team in the city. Dr. Mehta is proud to have been recognized as a TOP DENTIST by the Minneapolis St. Paul Magazine.
Dr. James Healy loves helping people. As a dentist, he educates his patients about their oral health, as well as how to keep their teeth and smile healthy and strong for years to come. He enjoys getting to know each of his patients and learning about their lives. For Dr. Healy, hearing about a person's interests and hobbies gives him insight into dental care options that will work for their specific situation.
For Dr. Lara Bainer, dentistry allows her to combine her loves for art and science. This marriage ensures she's able to provide high-quality oral healthcare to her patients, and enhance their smiles, too. Always focusing on each person's unique needs and goals, Dr. Bainer partners with them to help each reach and maintain a healthy mouth and beautiful smile.
Dr. Cindy Trosen Sundet has provided high-quality dental care in Edina, MN, for over 25 years, offering a variety of services in preventive and restorative care. Dr. Sundet likes to educate each patient, providing comprehensive diagnostics and dental healthcare. Dr. Sundet and her husband Scott have two married children and they recently became proud grandparents.

Dr. Healy is an excellent dentist! He is always gentle and thorough and takes the time to make sure all questions or concerns I have are answered. His team is very efficient, helpful, and accommodating at every visit. I look forward to all my visits because everyone is so friendly. I made an appointment for my 15 year old son. We were caught in heavy traffic and arrived a little late for our appointment. The receptionist called me and asked what our ETA was. After spending another 5 minutes trying to park in the overly crowded parking lot and then waiting for another few minutes for the elevator, we were still under 15 minutes late. We arrived to a completely empty waiting room. The receptionist asked for paperwork which I didn't have, however, I could have easily filled out while my son was being seen. She rudely demanded that we needed to reschedule after shaming

My daughter broke a front tooth at ski practice on a Thursday at 4pm. A dentist from this group returned my phone call by the time my daughter got home, did a quick phone appraisal of the situation and set up an appointment with another dentist in the group for early the next morning. We were seen on time, got a thorough evaluation and x-ray, and came out with a newly formed. lovely composite tooth. My high schooler was very happy and relieved to go to school with no evidence of her accident. We will follow up with the endodontist this group referred us to. A perfect result!

When our longtime dental clinic changed its provider we decided it was time to find a better practice for our family dental care.
There is a very good reason why Southdale Dental Associates is on many of the Twin Cities' best of lists. From my initial contact with the practice, I have been extremely pleased. The staff is professional, intelligent and efficient. My family saw Dr. Mehta on our recent visit and we will continue to request him for all of our future appointments. Best of the best.

There are too many dentists in this area to have to settle for bad service.
While my first visit to this office was fine, my more recent second visit will be my last. As I was on-time for my visit, I understand it may take a few minutes to get me in for my (simple cleaning) appointment. However, after sitting in the waiting room for 25 minutes and watching someone come in after me and get taken back right away, I left.
In this day and age, such disorganization at the "customer's" expense is inexcusable. And, if it does happen every so often, they could at least extend the

This is a great dentistry practice. They are so knowledgeable and are always concerned with their patients' experience.
First, you walk in the office and are greeted by the nicest, sweetest desk associates ever. Then you take a seat to wait for the hygienist to come, who always greets you with a smile and a few get-to-know-you questions. It's nice that the people in the office get to know their patients. And it's an especially nice distraction if you're getting a scary procedure done. The dentists, especially, know their stuff. I have receding gums, so they recommended a toothbrush
