We are a full service catering company servicing the san diego, CAlifornia and surrounding area. We provide services for any type of event where you need delicious, european inspired food. We offer traditional events such as: weddings, private parties, private corporate events, bridal showers, birthday parties and much more.
WE also offer several different non-traditional events we call "rustik Experiences" such as pizza competitions, cooking classes, beer pairings, and many more. Every dish is almost like a personalized chef experience, Starting with our Executive chef and owner- David lashinsky who is a graduate of the Culinary institute of america.

WOW! What an amazing palette Chef David has!
We booked a "DIY Catering" drop off service for our Holiday party of 20 and EVERY item was SPECTACULAR! The menu was super easy to understand and Chef David was very helpful especially during these unpredictable times!
We can't just pick one favorite because EVERY dish was a favorite! You definitely will continue to dream about all of these dishes!
-Chicken over bricks (Premium item that was worth it! BEST chicken ever!)
-Piri-Piri Tri Tip (Mouth watering!)
-Ratatouille cous-cous (Fantastic!)
-Shrimp Skewers (Incredible!)
-Lobster Claw

Chef David prepared a fantastic DIY/Dropoff for us this weekend! We fed 20 people with a variety of really creative preparations from seafood to beef that blew everyone away. This was no typical catering event. He made dishes that felt they were made for each of us individually. We looked at menu items that would "travel well" insuring freshness and presentation. Great sauces, pleasant surprises all day. Highly recommend a Chef that knows how to prepare a great event during the pandemic. All touchless, all good!

I had such a great experience with Rustik Catering! I ordered "DIY Catering" for my rehearsal brunch and the food was incredible. I got so many compliments on the food! It was so easy too. I picked what I wanted online, they even let me customize a dish which was pretty awesome, then they dropped it off at my location. Nic & David were super friendly and great to work with. I highly recommend Rustik Catering!!

If I could give Dave and RustiK Catering 100 Stars I would. Dave and his team catered our 6/15/19 wedding in a "Pop Up Dinner" style to include 5 courses complete with a custom menu Dave came up with after meeting with my husband and myself to get a feel for what we like and a theme to tie all our dishes together. It was truly phenomenal! Dave spoke about his dishes before each meal and his inspiration as they were being served. It was the highlight of the night! We had our holiday party catered by David @ Rustik Catering and it was wonderful. The staff is so professional and friendly. And the food is fantastic. Everyone at our event came up to me and complimented the chef. We have 60 guests and everyone was well fed and happy. We had a buffet with appetizers and dessert included. The beer braised beef brisket and freshly grilled Mahi Mahi were delicious. David's handmade cannolis are incredible. David was so easy to work I can highly recommend him to anyone wanting a great party.

Chef David knows what he's doing - what a pro.
We approached him to cater the cocktail hour of our wedding on relatively short notice.
He worked with us to find the ideal food for the best price.
And let me tell you. The stuff he made was delicious.
Literally every item he made was a hit amongst our friends and family. Some liked his custom salad the best. Others like the gazpacho. My parents loved the crostini bar. We loved it all.
I'll be updating with photos later, but the presentation was beautiful too. The food almost looks too good to eat!

RustiK is THE up and coming catering company in the San Diego area for very good reason. I was lucky enough to score tickets to their beer pairing + tasting event, and I'm still talking about the food we had that night.

Had my first pop-up dinner experience and it couldn't have been better. Chef Dave not only cooks extremely well, he is incredibly knowledgeable. Experience and passion makes all the difference. He loves answering questions and talking about foods from all over the world. At times I wish he was actually joining us for dinner and not working. Very communicable.

I have attended two events with this company. The first was a beer pairing dinner that was 5 courses. Each dish was crafted after the chefs tasted the beer so the food was super unique and creative. The other event was an Italian themed dinner that was 8 courses. The chefs made fresh pasta and homemade burrata! I gained at least 5lbs after that meal but it was worth it! All the food I've had has been high quality but at a super reasonable price.
Chef Dave is super approachable and professional! I am always impressed with his creative and thoughtful dishes. You won't be disappointed

I attended the a Beer Pairing dinner at Rouler brewery. We had a 5 course meal that was paired around the locally crafted beers. They did an awesome job, and super creative as well. My favorite was the Indian braised Short Rib with Biryani arancini (fried rice ball). I even got the chance to talk to Chef David-him and his crew are super friendly and executed the dinner very well. I would definitely attend another event, and I would recommend them as well.
