Over the past twenty years I have successfully treated many patients for just about every condition imaginable. In the year 2000, I graduated with a Masters Degree in Acupuncture from the Traditional Acupuncture Institute - now known as the Maryland University of Integrative Health. After becoming nationally board certified (NCCAOM), and licensed in New York State, I opened my first acupuncture clinic in Albany.
Over the years I have studied with several prominent teachers to improve my acupuncture skills. I am currently a seasoned practitioner of Master Tung's acupuncture, mentored by Susan Johnson, L.Ac. Master Tung's acupuncture provides quick and long lasting relief for a variety of hard to treat conditions.

Services
Acupuncture is simple and powerful. It helps the body return to balance. Often improvement occurs simultaneously among many conditions, not only the one for which you seek treatment. The effects of acupuncture treatment usually include deep relaxation, a feeling of well being, and gradual reduction of the symptoms for which you came for treatment.
Individual treatments are performed in a quiet, open setting. We offer a sliding fee scale that makes acupuncture affordable, so you can receive the number of treatments you may need to get the maximum benefit from acupuncture. New patients pay a one-time additional $10.00 fee added to our sliding scale (first visit is $35-$60).

Acupuncture has given me my life back.
For over a year I was not feeling like myself, I felt extreme fatigue, experienced horrible migraines to the point I couldn’t work, and had brain fog.
Since coming for treatments my brain fog and migraines are non existent, and I no longer feel abnormal tiredness. I can not work, spend time with family and friends, and take care of my home. I highly recommend upstate community acupuncture!

I go here primarily to relieve my stress and MS symptoms as my relapses occur. When I had optic neuritis the acupuncture improved my eyesight greatly when other methods did not help at all. Now I am back to my normal eyesight sooner than expected. I've always had high stress and I find this helps me manage it. For me my stress level is greatly related to my health. Eric listens to my health concerns and takes the time to educate me on the acupuncture I am receiving. After my visits I feel an overall sense of relaxation and peace. I feel like I can take on whatever the day throws at me. I 100% recommend

I highly recommend Upstate Community Acupuncture. I began going in July 2017 after years of struggling with chronic migraines, despite the use of preventative medications. I was initially drawn by the accommodating payment scale as I was unable to afford the typical rate of $80+ I saw at other practices. I began going twice per week and gradually weaned down to once per week as I experienced positive results and relief. Within 3-4 weeks of starting treatment, I was doing noticeably better. Within 6 months I was able to decrease the dosage of my medication. I continue to see Eric on a weekly basis

YES it works! I was wincing for almost no reason, the pain was *immediately* SOOO MUCH more tolerable. I'm going again today, to knock some more pain and stiffness down and ill keep going as needed to keep it down. I couldn't walk hardly when i went in and left thinking this is pure magic and I am so thankful.
*Eric is so professional, relaxed, and there's no doubt upon meeting him that he's very skilled, yet he is all too modest. Basically I felt I was in good hands almost immediately which was a good feeling. He explained the ins and outs well, I wasn't left wondering a thing, all in a few minutes

I have been seeing Eric for almost 3 yrs , the treatment I receive is always beneficial. I have been treated for allergies , insomnia as well as pain. While speaking to Eric prior to treatment I never feel rushed and he always is willing to offer other beneficial suggestions for treatment.
