Since insurance plans vary, please contact your insurance company directly to see if your plan covers acupuncture. Note: the United Healthcare Empire Plan does not credential or contract with acupuncturists, however many of their plans will allow you to submit for reimbursement for acupuncture. If you have coverage, I can help with the paperwork.
In the year 2001, there was one clinical Residency in the country for acupuncture. The program accepted only one first year resident that year, and it was me. I had strived for excellence and service to my graduate university, graduated at the top of my class, and was rewarded with a unique opportunity for growth and advanced training.
