Dr. Talwar grew up in Livermore, CA and began his path to a career in dentistry by completing an accelerated pre-dental undergraduate program in just two years, instead of the typical four years, at University of the Pacific in Stockton, CA. He then earned this Doctorate of Dental Surgery from University of the Pacific Dental School in San Francisco.
After a 26-year career with the UCD Molecular and cellular Biology department and raising two children, Teresa joined our practice as an administrative assistant. In her free time, she enjoys visiting her children in San Francisco and Reno and her two nieces in Oakland. She also loves to garden and has been in a book club for 20 years.
We provide a complete range of dental services: restorations, crown and bridge, extractions, cosmetics, whitening, comprehensive orthodontics, root canals, sealants, cleanings, periodontal care and more. Licensed hygienists are available for cleanings. We emphasize preventive care. Regular cleanings and check-ups allow us to catch problems in the early stages while treatment is still simple.

I absolutely love this place! The dentist is friendly, gentle, and takes his time explaining and answering questions. The office staff is incredible! They work with you regarding scheduling, they greet you before you're even through the door,and they are genuinely interested in your experience and needs! I would recommend this group to anyone without hesitation!

Very knowledgeable, friendly and thoughtful staff! I'm never waiting once I arrive for my appointment. They are very flexible if you need to change your appointment last minute. I can also text them about questions or appointment confirmation which is nice when you're at work most of the day. I've never had a bad visit. Very happy here!

The best dentist ever. You don’t feel it when he gives you the shot. Love it. He takes his time and ask if I feel any pain to raise my hand. I like how he explains what his going to do in detail. We moved to Vacaville from Southern Cal, I’m so glad my husband suggested to check them out. I found my dentist... Thank you Dr. Talwar and staff for caring for your patience!!! Talwar Family Dentistry was amazing! Super friendly staff, explained every step of the process, made sure to check my insurance coverage prior to treatments and gave me my total balance prior to treatment. I love that I have found a dental office that truly cares about their patients and patient satisfaction. I had a cleaning and filing in the same appointment and they did such a thorough job. Me and my family will definitely come back again and again and I will definitely refer my friends!
