A native of Water Valley, Dr. Steve Edwards, did his undergraduate studies at Mississippi College and received his Doctor of Optometry degree from Southern College of Optometry in 1987. Dr. Edwards is board certified by the National Board of Examiners of Optometry and has served as a proctor for the examination.
