We are a family-run urban farm and we are passionate about growing specialty cut flowers and designing with them. We are located in the quaint Carson Valley, Nevada and serve the following Northern Nevada communities: Gardnerville, Minden, Genoa, Carson City and Reno. We believe in using practices that will add to the health of of the earth, not deplete it.

Services
We began our flower farming journey with a mere 2,000 square feet of growing space but we planted intensely and succession planted, this allowed us to have a continuous supply of blooms all season long. Now, we are embarking in the next leg of our journey, with our new property we have a good quarter acre of unloved dirt that we are working on healing to become a thriving flower farm!
Know your wedding florist and your farmer all in one! Fresh flowers from our field to your hands. We provide an unique floral experience that will be a conversation piece for years to come. Our philosophy in design and growing are much the same: allow the flowers to tell the story. We ask couples wanting to work with us that they be open-minded and flexible to seasonal flowers.
We can do that too! This is for events other than weddings. Sierra Flower Farm also loves to do small events! DIY flowers is a wonderful option for those on a budget or simply want to experience the joy of playing with farm fresh blooms. This option may be great for some but more troublesome to others. Do I (or an appointed friend/family member) have a minimum 8 hours available the day prior to the wedding to work on making the floral arrangements?
On the heels of the "Slow Food Movement" is the "Slow Flower Movement." The Slow Flower Movement is the movement of customers and florists opting to use U.S. grown flowers, the more local to your area the better! This is great, it is delivering fresher flowers that are more unique, since many flowers aren't team players when it comes to long term storage and shipping!

Jessica is an absolute pleasure to work with. She’s calm and kind amidst the sometimes stressful moments of wedding planning. I was impressed with her creativity and professionalism from the moment we received our cost proposal. It was laid out beautifully and I knew from that point forward, that we chose the right vendor for our wedding flowers. All of our wedding flowers were lovely and exactly what we wanted. Their full service package is the way to go. They arrived on time & everything was setup according to plan. I would highly recommend Sierra Flower Farms.
