Thran's Flowers is a third generation legacy, serving our area with excellence and beauty since 1982. Lois Thran, Mother of Barbara and Grandmother of Katie, started the business in 1982. Lois had received a small inheritance and decided to open a flower shop. Her plan was to open a unique flower shop, different from your standard bucket shop.

As seen in the photo, the flowers are absolutely gorgeous and priced perfectly! Because of that, 5 stars. Amazing work! One slight problem was with ordering. I live in South Florida and sent this arrangement to family in Lake Tahoe. Because of the distance, this was an order I wanted to place over the phone and not online, or at least speak with someone once I placed the order. When you call the phone #, I would get a voicemail and the vm states, to place the order online. So I did that but left a message explaining that I reside in Florida and would like to speak to someone. I did not receive

Fantastic! I eloped one Tahoe and my family couldn't be there, so my mom contacted the shop to have something made for me. Sorry I don't know names, but the woman took the info my mom gave her and made something so beautiful and special for me! I can't speak on price, but the quality was great as was the customer service. I pulled up to pick them up and the woman knew right away what I was there for and said they were already ready. I had to pick them up a day early and they were still as beautiful the next day and most of it stayed pretty intact for the next week (I'm having

Thran's was the floral vendor for my daughter's wedding. On the contract we asked to use the same floral arrangement for the arch at the ceremony and for the sweetheart table at the reception. They agreed to transfer and deliver the arrangement for us. Just a few minutes before the reception started, I noticed that there were no flowers at all on the sweetheart table. I asked the hotel coordinator who was in charge of the reception. She had no idea why the arch flowers were not delivered. I called Thran's flowers, but they were closed for the day.

I used this flower shop for my wedding in South Lake Tahoe. Everything was beautiful. We worked with them from out of town and had great communication. My bouquet is still in the fridge and it looks good. The flowers smelled perfect. We ordered boutonnieres and table centered pieces but I don't have the pictures yet to post. Will update soon!

I was SPEECHLESS when my mother walked in with my bouquet on my wedding day!! It was more gorgeous than I could ever have imagined. I provided a photo of the style of bouquet I like and a color swatch and Thran's absolutely nailed it!! I could not be more happy with the ease of my experience with their customer service and their product. Everyone was swooning over my bouquet all day!! My step daughter also loved her flower crown and don't get me started on the boutineer! Just perfect. Thank you Thran's!! :)

Thran's Floral is absolutely AMAZING!!! We choose Thran's for our wedding, and were blown away! The centerpieces were incredible! The bouquet was entirely perfect, more perfect then I imagined. I showed her pictures, Katie and team rocked it. I also showed Katie a picture of the most beautiful centerpiece I found on pinterest. Asked if she could make something that looked close to it. What she made absolutely exceeded our expectations!! It was more beautiful then the picture I showed her and a good price. Everything was STUNNING!! Katie and crew did an amazing job with my wedding flowers! Everything was exactly as I hoped and better than I imagined. My bouquet was stunning and lasted an entire week! The flowers were delivered on time and the ladies were super professional. I was in the back room getting hair and makeup done when they arrived (no wedding coordinator) and they were able to quickly assemble the arch and arrange bouquets and flowers throughout the house on their own. I can't recommend them highly enough!

Came here yesterday to inquire about floral arrangements for my wedding. Yelp said they close at 4 I believe, we got there at 3:30 and they were already closed. Then today we came early, 1pm. But on the window there was a sign they wrote with marker than said they left but will be open at 3pm. We were very annoyed but decided to do other errands then come back. We just tried again (3rd time!) at 3:20pm and they're CLOSED. Their store hours say they're supposed to be open for another 40 mins.
Don't waste your time with this place. They open and close when they feel like it. So bad

My flowers for my small September beach wedding turned out to be literally the prettiest I had every seen (and I looked at a lot of pictures). I sent in a picture, and said, "I'd like this, but can you make it a little bit more fall-looking?" They said sure, made suggestions, and they looked even more beautiful than I ever could have imagined! Every time I needed to add something it was no problem (and I wound up doing a lot of additions! Couldn't recommend Thran's Flower Shop more! I'd give them 10 stars if I could!

Katie at Thrans did an incredible job turning our wedding vision into a reality. She created a gorgeous, natural bouquet for me made of local flowers (I didn't want anything imported), stunning garlands made of just greenery for the long tables, and wonderful arrangements of geometric rose gold shapes and leaves for the round tables. She also had a lot of nice additional details such as greenery on our wooden chandeliers, moss around the place card tables, candles at the ceremony entrance, a welcome sign, table cloths, etc. Because we worked with Thrans we didn't need to do any additional

I am so happy with the flowers for my wedding! I live 8 hours away and I put faith in the referrals and yelps reviews. At the last minute I made some changes I they were accommodating. I didn't explain well what I wanted and they still hit the mark! Everything was perfect! We highly recommend Thran's!

We worked with Thran's for our wedding on 9/30 and we were very happy with the flowers for our event!! We had received quotes from several places for arch decor, welcome sign decor, aisle decor, boutonnieres, and corsages. We made our own centerpieces so did not need florals there, so we were running into issues with some other florists having minimum charges that we had to meet, and we didn't feel those prices were fair. Thran's offered a very affordable price for what we requested, and did not require a minimum charge. We then decided to have them do my bridal bouquet as well

Oh my goodness - the flowers that Thran's put together for our wedding could not have been more perfect. We are so pleased!!! I didn't have a clear vision, and just sputtered words in our consultation, but they totally got what I was going for and made it happen! Love them! I worked with Katie, and she did a GREAT job! I was planning a destination wedding in north Lake Tahoe, and she really made my vision come to life. Everything turned out just as I'd hoped, from the gorgeous large arrangements for the ceremony (see photo), to the adorable halo for the flower girl, to my bouquet, etc.
