At Little Feet, we strive to awaken in each child a love for learning through creative and imaginative play, as well as a responsibility to care for others and the world around us. Our strong commitment to childhood celebrates the whimsy, enthusiasm and joy children bring to their work & play. Each Spring, our "Big Kids" utilize all the readiness skills they have mastered through an extended curriculum unit devoted to art history.
We learn about the inspirations and challenges of more than fifteen artists, then try out one of the mediums the artist worked in. We offer three separate half-day programs for three different age groups: "Big Kids" (4 year olds), "Medium Kids" (3 year olds) and "Little Kids" (2 year olds). We believe each age is best inspired by activities and curriculum which meet each child at their current developmental stage.

Services
Our primary goal at Little Feet is simple and straightforward: inspire a love for learning within a caring community of friends. School is one of your child's first experiences with community. Our Little Feet program is designed to support global ideas of tolerance, open-minded principles and inclusive communication.
With health protocols in place, we have returned to our traditional schedule for the 2021-2022 school year. Classes for this current school year are full. Little Feet for Little Kids offers a warm, cozy, secure environment. Our high level of teacher involvement, guidance, and commitment is key as we introduce children to the world of friends and developing relationships with peers.
We invite families interested in Little Feet to contact our enrollment administrator Liann Snykus with any questions by email at liannlittlefeet@gmail.com. If there is a class opening available for the year you're interested in, you will be offered an appointment to tour our classroom spaces. At that time you will receive an Application Form.
Looking to our Little Feet community, our Hudson Valley community, as well as our national/international community, we often find lovely resources for families. Below are some recommended ones we'd like to share. Additionally, we have an extensive Little Feet Lending Library for families, including parenting books along with a preschool collection featuring topics such as new baby, grief, illness, divorce, disabilities and gender identity.
