Haircuts include a complimentary consultation, an Aveda stress relieving scalp massage, hot towel and blow-dry style. Deposit only Color Treatment - a conditioning blend of certified organic plant oils, kukui, sunflower, castor and jojoba helps improve the condition of the hair and provide radiant shine.
Massage, good for the body and soul, is beneficial physically and mentally. Incorporating Swedish and deep tissue techniques, it is shown to help lower blood pressure, work out areas of tension, and help clients let go of day-to-day stresses. Zoe's skill set is specifically designed to help with increasing mobility, giving pain relief, improving sleep, relieving frozen shoulders and sciatica, and providing deep relaxation.

Colorist and owner of Pure Glow Salon, Kacy started her vision in 2015 by purchasing an Aveda Concept Salon. She began her career as a hairstylist in 1998 where she joined her first Aveda Concept Salon - Indra&Co in Boise, Idaho. After moving to Reno in 2002, Kacy worked at Bella Salon in Carson City, Nevada.
Many years ago in a galaxy far, far away, a child was born. And this child had a dream. Growing up as the only son of a migrant farmer, his dream seemed impossible to achieve. But with determination and hard work, the young boy watched his dream take shape. His dream was to be a Master Stylist in a premiere Aveda salon.

Every time I go to Pure Glow it's a great experience. My hair is dark, thick, coarse, and hard to manage. My stylist is careful with my hair and approaches each application with thought and technique. She never rushes and always does the color and cut that I want. The shop is super cute, and comfortable. All of the stylists are very nice, and always welcoming. They treat you like a friend, not just a number, but are very professional.They have extremely talented stylists that do amazing work. Their Aveda products are incredible and actually show results!! I'm in love with my hair everytime I go

The salon was small but clean and the receptionist was super nice and friendly but that is where the good ends. I got my haircut by Katie and it was the worst experience. I had very long one length hair and had asked for 8 inches off and then a lot of layers and what I walked away with was 10 inches off and just 1 layer cut. When she was done cutting she slightly blow dried my hair and then while it was still damp she used a flat iron!! My hair was still so damp that I heard a sizzle and saw steam from it. She fried my hair! She never even fully dried it! Needless to say I am stuck trying to grow

I love this salon! It's starts with the wonderful receptionist Karen who does a fantastic job from the moment you walk in the door. The owner, Kacy really does a fabulous job and she is so professional. When you come here you know you are in good hands. Everyone that works here seems to be very professional. Salon is top-notch. The salon is so clean and organized and everyone is so nice. They offer you something to drink. It's a great place in every way. I Love this place and always look forward to my appointment. This salon has such a fun atmosphere! All of the staff is so kind and friendly. Jessica gave me my massage and she is wonderful. She is personable and professional, making you feel at ease the minute she enters the room. I was relaxed from the very start. I also got my hair done by Kacy. She is the best! I described what I wanted done with my hair and it turned out exactly how I wanted! Overall, the experiences I have had at this salon have been amazing, my only wish is that I could give them more than 5 stars!! Thanks!

I have been a client of Amanda's for years, and I think she has found the perfect spot to practice her magic. Her facials are better than ever, the environment is welcoming, professional and classy, and the people I encounter there are friendly and upbeat. I leave my appointments relaxed and refreshed and feeling incredibly pampered. Give it a try, I think you will be impressed.

I agree with the reviews that you will get an amazing massage if you go to Zoe.
However, Zoe was not for me. She talked through the whole massage and she talked about really weird things like alternate worlds and such. It actually made me feel more stressed because I was trying to be polite and respond to some of the weird things she was saying. It was just extremely awkward and uncomfortable.
I got a deal through Groupon and she seemed mad I was paying those Groupon. I even left a really good cash tip and she still seemed weird about the Groupon thing.
Overall, if want a really good massage

Wow, Zoe is a rockstar - I am a big fan of all of the stretching and careful time she took to work on some major tension that I had. She got right to the point helping me to ease into bliss immediately with a little frankincense, reminders to breathe deeply, and great attention to personalizing the room for me with questions about temperature and music/sound choices. Nice central location at European Fitness Center and nice little private room away from all things gym, so don't let that worry you. Purchased a three pack and can't wait to go back!

Zoe is amazing. Her talent, energy and pricing is excellent. I've had MANY full body massages but at the end am always left feeling like the therapist didn't completely get my body's needs. Zoe paid attention to what I needed and worked my muscles creatively and thoroughly. I'm leaving feeling relieved, relaxed and inspired to tell you she's really good! Highly recommended.

BEST massage I've ever gotten!! I have neck and lower back issues and Zoe pinpointed those issues and worked them in great detail. I can't put into words to describe not only the relief I feel but true relaxation. I read some previous comments regarding the Groupon thing-:I actually got the Groupon as well and you should have had at least tried her before writing your comment. Groupon refunded you and she will give you 50% off for your first massage. Her skill set is far above any others in Reno and would highly recommend using her. Truly fantastic.

Before I even scheduled, I got an email from Groupon asking how I'd rate the massage. Turns out Zoe had redeemed my Groupon before I'd even used it. Phone calls to Zoe & Groupon finally cleared it up and I was good to go with an appointment scheduled.
So the morning of my massage Zoe leaves me a phone message that she has to move that day and we'd have to reschedule. OK, at least I hadn't embarked on the 90 min round trip drive yet, so minor annoyance but no big deal.
Well yesterday I arrive on time for my massage

I saw Zoe a couple months ago through a groupon I purchased because I had read such great reviews. The massage was amazing, one of the best I'd had. I felt so good after!
She expressed to me that groupon was kind of a nuisance for her because she wasn't making any money from it but she really wanted to build her clientele. I told her I was not going to be a one time customer, that I would definitely be back!
I have since called multiple times, left messages, as well as sent text messages (which she said in her voicemail was a good option to get in contact with her) and have not heard

Very vigorous, high-energy massage. She's very good, just be prepared that this is not a slow, soothing massage. This is a vigorous, almost deep-muscle therapy massage. I'm sure she will adjust if asked.
Close to downtown, in a large house converted to small business spaces.
If you're coming from the freeway, leave 10-15 minutes to get here after exiting the freeway. GPS on an iPhone gets you there reliably. There's a monument sign outside the converted house.

I have been in a literal HUNT for an amazing massage therapist in Reno since I moved here in August of last year. I'm leaving August this year and am so upset I didn't find Zoe sooner. I've had 100s of massages across the country and even in Europe, and I can honestly say that Zoe is quite possibly the best massage therapist I've ever had. She not only finds a way to relax you but also knows the body and recognizes where to ease up or put more pressure. She's knowledgable, clean, and friendly. I plan on going to her from now on and am so excited I found her. HIGHLLLLLY
