Excellent service for scam prices. they will treat your vehicle very well, providing meticulous free floor cleaning and free car washes. but be warned, their prices for service are highway robbery. 4 tires from any nearby place with alignment wouldn't be more than $500, yet it costs even more for only 2 tires without the warranty they try to sell you on. place shows promise to be great but prices majorly need adjustment

This is the only place I will go to have my truck worked on. They are extremely professional yet friendly and they treat everyone with respect and dignity. Their prices are better than other shops in the area and they even have technicians trained to service European cars and hybrid or full electric drive vehicles. You won't find anywhere as good a Nealey Auto Service if you live in the area.

Both Service Writers were very friendly and confirmed what Service i was having on my Daughter's Fiat 500L. Their Shuttle Service had me back home in 10 minutes - Appreciated. Later that morning I received an email the service was completed with a Mechanical Inspection Report. Shortly after the email they called and the service was complete and ready for pickup. Would recommend this Shop for your vehicle services.

I did not end up having a service done today, but what a professional team!
Today, I had dropped off my older, small SUV, to have the exhaust evaluated. When they completed their diagnostics, I was called. Due to the age of my vehicle, it would have to be a custom job & probably pricey. They already had an alternative option, another business who specialized in exhausts & had the phone # available.
There was a diagnostic fee, which I knew about ahead of time. If I had the service done, the fee would be applied to the cost of my repair. With the diagnostic, I was given a detailed

Nealey did a fabulous job communicating, sharing everything they found in an inspection with detailed descriptions and pictures, and even offering a loaner vehicle so that they could perform all of the services in one visit, not multiple. I am thoroughly impressed, and my parents who have been using the same mechanics for years couldn't believe the amount of communication I was receiving from a mechanic- they now wish they lived closer to Nealey. I couldn't be happier with the work completed and with the overall experience.

We were referred to Nealey when we purchased 4 new tires from Tire Rack and selected Nealey for the installation. Devon was courteous and helpful when I called to schedule an appointment. The complimentary inspection revealed that we needed new rear brakes and rotors, and the price quoted was fair. Our car was ready before the promised time and we got it back washed and with a small thank you gift left on the dash. We had a pleasant experience at Nealey in Edgewater, MD and will definitely be going back!

Having the need to have my car register in Maryland as a new resident to Maryland, I chose Nealey to prep it for inspection. The techs were courteous and friendly. The inspection report clearly explained and what was needed now and what could be addressed later. Also it was great to be shuttle to my home and shuttle back to Nealey to pick up my car. My partner has been using Nealey's services for years, so I decided to give them a try. They were very helpful, gave me an estimate over the phone based on what I was saying, and then once they actually had the car there. The communication was plentiful, which I appreciated, as they were looking at various things and updates were helpful. My car ended up not needing a ton of work, and they were honest about that and didn't try to sell me on b.s. like so many shops have done. I will be going back for oil changes regularly, and any other needs my car has. Great auto shop.

I had both my cars here for the MD State Inspection, and it was fantastic. Scheduling the appointments was very easy, the person I spoke with on the phone was helpful and polite.
The service was above and beyond. They text you a link so you know when they've started your work and when they've finished it. Bottom line up front: this is a great shop and Scott F. is a great service advisor: competent, courteous, and responsive! My truck is 14 years old and has almost 200,000 miles on it, yet they treated it like it was a brand new car. I got a full, digital "doctor's report" about the condition of my vehicle, complete with photos and detailed descriptions with a URL link in an email. It was a little overwhelming at first because of the age and mileage of my vehicle, but like a good doctor, they clearly informed me about what needed immediate attention and what could wait. This place is the best. My daughters car wouldnt crank one day after work. After sitting at her job for a week i got on yelp to find the nearest mechanic. Luckly we found Nealeys around the corner from her job. So my husband had the car taken their. He was very pleased how they kepted him up to date every step of the way. It only took one full day and the car was fixed. Thank you for doing such a great job.

Had a great experience with them! My fiancé had to get a lot of stuff done to his truck and they were quick to make appointments, stayed on the deadline and did great job. They followed up with him a couple of times after the service to make sure everything was running good and answered all his questions. Overall pleased with the service that was done. It is worth the higher price and love that it is locally owned! And love the complimentary car wash

I've moved around a good amount and always search for a mechanic I can trust. I've found some I like, some I even really liked and was sad to move away from, but Nealey auto blows every mechanic I've ever been to away.
It's a mom & pop shop and their service and their newly renovated shop is truly top notch. The inside is very nice with great chairs, wifi, coffee and water. Kenny and Devon were both the nicest people to deal with, and everything was done quickly and efficiently on my car.

Brake job estimate was too high. I'm sure the quality is above average, but my car is 11 years old with 180k miles. Still got lifetime brake pads, 2 year warranty on rotors for $200 less from competition less than 10 miles away. Even told the service adviser who didn't seem to care. I'd love to give a local family business my money, and would even pay more, but that's just too much.

Went there to get my car looked at. The man at the desk would not look at my car. He said it would take a week to look at the car???!??? Not sure why maybe that seat he was sitting on was extra comfy and the did not want or need my business. I live a few houses away from the owners, and I like to use a local business. After this I has to go to his competitor.

You always have to wonder when you see a long list of 5 star ratings if an auto repair shop is legitimate but I can assure you that Nealey's is the real deal. This is the high bar of auto repair in terms of process, thoroughness and customer focus. Lots of places talk about it and few deliver in on the level that Nealey's does.
It's what we all want as consumers - quick response, transparency, professionalism and finding and fixing the problems that need to be fixed.

We recently took our Solara to Nealy Auto Service for a problem with the A/C and were very pleased with the work AJ did. He was very professional and diagnosed the problem quickly and explained what was needed to fix it. He also took a look at the overall condition of the car and noted some things that could become issues later, but didn't indicate that we needed to do anything now. In other words, no pressure to do any additional work.
