We are a private Montessori school serving families in the greater Talent, OR community. Our passion is partnering with parents in these crucial early years of life, to provide a supportive and enriching environment for children to develop into the best versions of themselves! Our dual-language program is a Montessori based curriculum designed to enrich the lives of the children we work with through ASL, music, nature, art and more.
Services
Nicole is a homeschooling mother of two girls ages 11 and 13 and has worked as a teacher for the last 7 years with preschool to middle school aged kids. She received her Montessori credential in 2014 from MTC in Shingle Springs, CA. She has a passion for instilling a love of nature within children, as she aims to help develop stewards for our planet.
Thank you for your interest in our program. Below you'll find information about the services we provide, the openings we have, how to schedule a tour, and what our enrollment process looks like. Tours for the 2021/2022 school year are closed. Our tour schedule is full and we unable to accept additional enrollment/waitlist applications at this time.
Our scholarship program is designed to support families whose children would not be able to attend the Butterfly House Montessori Preschool without financial assistance. Scholarships are granted as a percentage of total annual tuition and typically fall within the 5-20% range. The application process is simple.
Our intricate curriculum is carefully designed around the Montessori philosophy of "follow the child". Each area of the classroom is thoughtfully designed to spark interest and independence in each child. Our staff act as guides who carefully lead each child to discover for themselves the wonder of the world around them.
Montessori Philosophy is rooted in a deep respect for every child, their natural inner-drive to explore this world, and their ability to absorb their environment. We believe in the power of freedom within limits, following the child's interests, and guiding them towards independence as they choose their own work, practice social skills, and grow into good stewards of their environments (earth, home, and school).

Report
Our two sons went to Butterfly House and we will always be grateful for the many enriching experiences Butterfly House added to their young lives. We loved the large outdoor play space, emphasis on art, engaging materials available for play and learning, the number of quality books, and the fabulous, attentive teaching. What a special little school!
