Echo Motel

My Husband and I just got back from our vacation. This was the second time staying at The Echo Motel in OOB. We love it here. First the owners Julie and Sam are so kind and did there best making our vacation wonderful. Our room was so clean, comfy and so close to the beach. We couldn’t ask for more. We cooked on the grills, enjoyed the view, and loved the heated pool. Definitely staying again. We celebrated our 30th Anniversary there and can’t wait to go back. ❤️

We had such an amazing stay here. I didn't know what to expect when I booked. I had never stayed in a hotel at old orchard before. The owners are super kind and the room was very clean. The pool was great after a long day at the beach. Being on this side of Grande is perfect to walk to the beach and be away from the train. Loved it here would recommend and will definitely stay again!

We will definitely be back! Our family of 5 had the most amazing stay at the Echo Motel! The owners were unbelievably kind & accomodating. The rooms were super clean, beds comfortable, it was quiet, the pool was amazing and it was a super short walk to the beach for the kiddos! I cannot say enough good things about this place! Wish we could go back right now!

Owners are amazing people. Rooms are super neat and clean. Parking spots are to small for a big truck. But they accommodate for their patrons. Sanitizing is of the utmost importance and the owners exceed in that. Bed is super comfortable and the kitchenette set up is helpful and awesome. Will definitely return next June for a Father's day get away

The room was exceptionally clean, beds are comfortable, pool was wonderful and the entire grounds was very well cared for. The owners,Julie and Sam ,were extremely welcoming and easy. Certainly a go back to kinda place!!! Thank you

We have a large family four adults and 6 children. The rooms were very big. They also included kitchens with a stove, refrigerator, and sink. They also included forks, knives, pots and dish liquid dishsoap. The rooms were also very clean. We met the owner and she was extremely nice! We will definitely stay here next year.

We just finished our second stay here. Rooms are immaculate. Some rooms have even been remodeled with updated appliances. Kitchenettes are perfect for a small family looking to stay a few nights. Julie and Sam are just the best people. Location is perfect. Mere steps to the beach. You’re also far enough away from the pier and amusements that you’re not bothered by the noise, but close enough to walk down (10-15 minute walk) to enjoy the fun and excitement of OOB. We will continue to support this business every time we come up! Perfect for families!

My family has included this motel as part of our vacation for three years now. We will not stay anywhere else. It's clean and the owners are very friendly. It's extremely close to the beach and just a short walk to all the other action.

I totally forgot to write a review last year about our trip. I cannot express how awesome Julie and Sam are . This hotel was so cute my daughter had a Blast. I just remembered to write this because we are looking to return this summer.

Very pleased with our accommodations! Got any service we needed fairly quickly! Clean and very assessable for my handicapped fellow traveler! Very clean pool, close to beach and 1/2 mile walk to downtown Old Orchard Beach!!

Very noisy in room because large table for motel just outside room and parking lot for entire motels use with sign posted quiet 10pm to 8am. People with children eating and playing at it disturbing sleeping and tv as well as any privacy at all. The ocean view window also was a frosted half window visible views standing and open only the only reason that we stayed there rather than where we usually stayed was for the view we were promised so very disappointed.

We stayed while on our way home from Bar Harbor and the hotel was nice enough, but pretty dated. There was nothing wrong with the hotel, but nothing memorable either. If I were in Old Orchard Beach again I'm not sure if we would stay here again or not.
