Forest Hill Dance
Recreation Program-September-May, runs in 6-8 week classes for home schoolers, adults and baby classes. Our Performance Program is geared for students who want to learn varies types of dances and want to perform. This program runs all year from September to May/June ending with an end of the year recital.

These students are also eligible to audition and perform in other dance productions. Our Performance Program begins at age 3. Ballet is required to be taken with other classes to participate in this program. Forest Hill Dance supports the performing arts in Harford County. All dancers that meet the age requirement are encouraged to audition for many of the productions around the county.
Services
Forest Hill Dance offers a wide variety of classes for students ages 3 to 18yrs old. Our goal is to provide quality instruction to our dancers while also providing an environment for our dancers to express themselves creatively with confidence. Great effort is taken by our staff to ensure that dancers are grouped together in classes where all can learn the same technique and choreography.
Target age: 4-5 year olds. Our youngest performing group of dancers. Dancers build upon the foundation from Creative Movement and continue to learn to control their gross motor skills. This is the first structured ballet class. These dancers will have a studio performance at the end of the year for family members.
Target age: 3-4 year olds. Our youngest group of dancers. Creative Movement introduces the basics of ballet and dance terminology while acclimating children to the structure of a dance class. Participants learn how to share the space with others. Our instructors use music, mimed movement and props to engage our young dancers.
FOREST HILL DANCE is excited to be expanding their dance program. We will be implementing a true day time RECREATION PROGRAM. What does that mean? We will holding 6-8 week sessions that will be during the day geared more for home school students. Dance classes can count as a gym credit for homeschoolers.
Registration is done entirely online with dancers being "pre-approved" for their appropriate classes. Pricing is based on the number of classes in which a child enrolls. Some classes have only one day/time option and some classes have an enrollment cap. Open enrollment begins in late July for NEW dancers.
