I am a travel nurse helping hospitals with COVID so I booked hotels to stay close to my next shift. For the first time I worked close to LAX area and I did not know any hotel in the area and had to worked next day in that area as an emergency. I called many hotels and everyone was booked or their customer service was so bad. Never stayed in a motel before but I did not had an option by then. I called Hyde Park Motel and a really nice gentelman answered (Abby) gave me the best quote after hearing my experience in the area, did not tougth twice and drove there. Then super exellent customer service

I've found my go-to motel for when I need to crash for a night near lax / Inglewood area. I got a really good deal on a website and the room was large and clean. The woman who helped me at the front desk was prompt and very friendly. There is an enclosed parking lot with lots of space. Though some may not be into the location, I personally felt comfortable. (I've lived in the la area for several years.)

Sketchy neighborhood and no parking (was told to just park in the handicap spot by the owner). I slept in my clothes and covered the pillow with my sweater because the room was very dirty. There were hairs on the bed from previous guests and dirt on the floor that turned my socks black. There was a coffee maker inside with coffee and a fridge. And it wasn't too pricey but for what you get, it should be below $50.

Great motel to just sleep at. We stayed 2 nights and it was fine. It's a pretty ghetto area but we only slept here and there were no issues with our car or safety. Staff was nice while checking in and provided fresh towels without us having to ask. The room is basic, but nice and there's free tv, coffee and WiFi. My only complaint was that the bed and pillows were SOOOO uncomfortable and hard! It hurt my neck...so I'd just suggest bringing your own pillows. :)

A 5-star motel it isn't...but you aren't paying for a 5-star motel. I've stayed at nice motels/hotels that were pricy and did not provide you with all of the amenities that this one did. Hyde Park provided an iron and ironing board, a nice size mini fridge, microwave, hair dryer, coffee pot with coffee & creamer & sugar, mints, wi-fi, shampoo, conditioner, soap, toothpaste, nice size wall mounted TV with lots of cable channels, blanket, crown molding on the ceiling, has a well-lighted parking area, and the heating unit worked very nicely. One room we saw had a table and

You get what you pay for. If you are fine to stay drug addicts, thugs and ex-convicts just to save $20 then this place is just for you. Personally, I rather spend a bit more and spend my time somewhere else more decent. I am not picky and I am not asking for much, all I want is to be safe and enjoy my stay. The Hyde Park Motel can't meet those very basic expectations.

$79 (tax included) for a one night stay isn't bad for the area. I slept fine; however, the boyfriend didn't - for he said he heard there were a lot of noises in the middle of the night. He was in and out of consciousness throughout the night because he heard jiggling of the door knob. I think he was just a little concerned about the location.
Prior to our stay, I informed him of the reviews I've read (on Expedia) and some mentioned that so long as one doesn't leave their room, one should be fine. Others mentioned that the location seemed sketchy and is in the ghetto. The drug

I've stayed at Hyde Park Motel on and off just trying to find a new apartment. Nancy the manager has been so gracious and a tremendously amazing help. This hotel has amazing flooring and huge beds, mini fridge, and microwave. If you're visiting LA, stay here! You won't be disappointed and it's convenience is close to the airport when traveling or just passing through!

This was a fine choose. Uber was great about picking us up and dropping off. Owner/operators nicest people. Early morning bed comforters stripped, hung over rail and sanitized. Mattress was better than mine home. The room was clean. No dust what so ever. Take a chance here you won't be disappointed......

I choose this hotel by using trip advisor and I just took a gamble based off the pictures that were there online but when I came I had no problem there was plenty of parking and the office staff very polite and friendly this is my second time staying here I stayed in room 118 the last time it was a great room very spacious hardwood floors with a nice bathroom and a great bed it's a king size room very well priced but I also stayed in room 117 it's almost exactly like the previous room it's nice and quiet here I enjoyed my stay. I will keep returning here as long as it stays the same

DO NOT GO HERE! This place is terrible. My band and I were playing a show in Los Angeles and needed a place to stay. The lady at the desk could barely speak English and was not helpful at all when we asked where we could park our trailer. Not to mention this place is in the middle of the straight up ghetto. I was sure that we were going to be mugged if we decided to stay. Don't stay here if you are concerned about your general safety and well being.

We chose this hotel based on the price. Yes, the price was reasonable but there were some things we were not crazy about. For one, we walked in the door to our room and found the love seat covered by a sheet, looking as though the furniture was covered because of moving or something of the like. That was our first impression because the outside appearance of the motel was fine. Next, the bathroom towels were like sandpaper. They were not soft at all to the touch and looked like they had been washed about a thousand times. The mirror above the bed and on the wall to the right of the bed was
