All of our floral designs offered are created by our professional floral designers. Our flowers come from all over the world, and from local farms in our area.
They arrive fresh daily, and are processed by our staff to ensure their longevity. We also offer fruit baskets, fruit and snack baskets, and snack baskets that are made to order. You may upgrade most of our designs. In some cases, we allow you to determine the color scheme of your floral gift. We also allow you to add locally made delicious Wockenfuss Chocolates, festive Mylar balloons, or one of our cute and cuddly plush bears.

Donna is amazing! I went to her with a vague vision of what I wanted with zero correct terminology of different flowers, and Donna took my directions and ran with them! She created bouquets far more beautiful than I could have described for her for less than I anticipated spending. Delivery and setup was perfect.
When choosing a flower to send as an expression of sympathy, you need to decide first if you want to send something that the family can take home or something that can go to the graveside. If you want the family to have something to take home, you could choose one of our table arrangements, dish garden planters (mixture of green house plants in a basket or ceramic container), or one of our keepsake designs.

I ordered from a FTD site and thought after it was paid that the flowers would be delivered the same day since it was a little past 12 noon , but got a call saying they they couldn't deliver it the same day AND they didn't have the flowers that went into the arrangement, I canceled and now have to wait days to get a refund , I don't have my money or the arrangement, order your flowers elsewhere. .

Ordered flowers, acasket spray and standing spray (over $700) for Mom's funeral. Ordered 2 days in advance.
Day of funeral - flowers had not arrived - called florist and they had a difficult time locating my order... once found, they blamed their computer for not printing out the order... they did not have the appropriate flowers to make the standing spray, so I cancelled... they rush made the casket spray and delivered 1 hour after the viewing already begun.
I called the next day to discuss this with a manager and was told there is no one around

I was traveling and wanted to surprise a friend, so I called and place and order for deliver with a representative called Marie. She initially was rushing me through the process; then assured me the delivery will be done by 3:35pm. Called back from a missed call to learn that she gave the driver the wrong address and convinced herself that it was my fault because I gave her the wrong address. Came here for my nephews prom and they pretty much had corsages made already and didn't give me an option to make my own. Then when I came back to pick it up they then were advertising that I could've built up my own. During prom season I would think they would've been ready for all kinds of choices. Will be going some place else.

I ordered another bouquet from their website for my wife for our anniversary and we are just as happy as the first time. My wife received the bouquet on time (which was the following day) and it looked just like the photo on their website. She loves it! FYI, I did get the deluxe option. My old florist closed up shop and this has become my new go-to florist. I order with confidence and recommend them to anyone who asks about florists.

I came to Essex greenhouse with the intent of bringing home with me some new indoor plants for my home. Their selection was limited but the plants that they had were nice. Only a few succulents but a lot of nice Wandering Jews of different varieties so I grabbed a big Wandering Jew and a small succulent, I do believe they charged me for the wrong size plants but oh well. I noticed after a few days my plants were looking bad, come to find out they were infested with melee bugs. My husband and I live in Florida, but we got married in Maryland. We had no idea where to go for our flowers. We were directed by the venue to several florists, all who seemed more interested in selling us flowers than listening to our ideas. I cannot say that I know a lot about flowers, but I do know what I like, and I really did not like being told what my preferences should be by someone who does not know me. I want to start off by saying the service and employees are amazing and incredibly nice. They went above and beyond for me! I had them do our wedding bouquets, flower arrangements and some table decor. Even though I live in Oklahoma and Essex florist is located in Maryland, communication was great along the way. If I had any concerns or questions they answered them for me. Everything turned out just as I wanted and even more beautiful. We decided to get my wedding bouquet preserved, which I have never heard of before, but was all for it. It turned out amazing, Essex Florist even shipped it to me

Very nice ladies working here. Cute inside.
Not a huge selection of cut flowers but a fantastic selection of potted plants, table arrangements and gift basket flowers.
Beautiful potted easter lillies $12. Nice potted pink and red tulips for $17, table arrangements for $40.
Also a huge greenhouse in the back with lots of plants ready to take home.
Great spot to pick up something for the garden or a gift.
