Dennis Myron Leavitt, Esq. was born and raised in Las Vegas as the son of the late Justice Myron E. Leavitt, who served in the Nevada Supreme Court. He attended Las Vegas High School and worked on the Las Vegas Strip as a valet parking attendant for more than 10 years.
After completing his B.A. in Business and Accounting at the University of Nevada Las Vegas, Mr. Leavitt attended the University of Idaho, School of Law, where he was recognized for his achievements in the studies of Family, Business, Criminal, and Constitutional Law.He has successfully represented some of the major casinos in Las Vegas, such as the Hilton, MGM, Golden Nugget, Bally's, Binion's Horseshoe, Sahara, Flamingo, and Arizona Charlie's.

Benjamin joined Leavitt Law Firm in 2015 as the firm administrator and is now an attorney. Benjamin graduated from UNLV with a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration in 2015 prior to law school, and also worked in retail banking, gaining useful customer service experience. Before and during law school, Ben worked as the firm administrator for Leavitt Law Firm.
Loammi Garcia is the Paralegal of Leavitt Law Firm. Loammi supports and helps the attorneys with any tasks needed. Loammi's favorite part about working at Leavitt Law Firm is helping make each client's experience in family court as comfortable as possible. Loammi takes pride in ensuring that each client feels valued and in control of their case.
Leslie Campos is the Legal assistant of Leavitt Law Firm. Leslie is the friendly voice and face that greets potential and current clients. Leslie also handles the client intake process. I hired Mr. Leavitt's office in early 2020 to assist me with a custody matter, after seeing their google reviews. After about the second court hearing I was beyond disappointed and dissatisfied with the lack of professionalism and attentiveness to my case. Dennis Leavitt represented me in my divorce and I got nothing.. this letter from the state board shows it was concluded that he violated the rules of misconduct and will be reprimanded..
All he did was send me bill after Bill .. he had no energy and had to sit while addressing the judge saying he was old and could he sit down.. out of 140 emails he responded to maybe 5..he should have retired a long time ago.. if it wasn't for his son Ben I would have never known what was going on.. the judge awarded me $15000 and Leavitt had the other council make it out to him and he kept it..

I fired Frank Leavitt as my attorney in March of 2021 - after paying a total of $17,000 and being NO closer to finalizing my divorce.
My Ex and I were married and living together for less than 4 years, we have two young children, no physical assets to dispute, and no money.

More than forty years ago, I learned a valuable lesson. Sadly, I learned it the "hard way". My wife and I were splitting up. I hoped for an amicable divorce. I hired an attorney that was the nicest guy on the planet. My wife hired a flesh-eating monster of a man that literally devoured me, my assets, and my "Mr. Nice Guy" attorney. This review has been a long time coming. I hired Dennis to represent me in a family law matter relying solely on the Leavitt name. I'm not a lawyer but i do know the documents he submitted to the court were sub par and the 1 time he actually appeared in court with me his behavior was down right bizarre. Well i cut my loses not before he sent me the detailed itinerary that would cost me all my retainer 5K to be exact. Lawyers prey on the vulnerable

I have no idea where these rating are coming from , but I guarantee you from the bottom of my heart, that even if you were to win your case with no lawyer, you will regret for the rest of your life if you go with Leavitt Law Firm. That's exactly what happened to me. I was charged over 10k and the end result devastated my life! If you love your family members and spend the rest of your life with them, or deal with courts to benefit yourself , choose any other provider but these guys. I am so depressed because of their irresponsible representation, and I wouldn't want anyone else go through

I wanted to take the time to thank the people in this office for handling my divorce case with care and understanding. While looking for the right divorce attorney, at some offices I felt just another open wallet. Other firms were no better than the **nt my ex-wife is. Not here. Not at Leavitt Family Law. Here my concerns were at ease and my outcome was favorable. I cant say enough about how great the people in this office were and how happy I am with their results.
