Newport Beach Women's Wellness Center now offers convenient and cost effective alternatives to outpatient procedures previously performed in a hospital operating room. Essure is an excellent solution for women looking for permanent birth control. The Essure procedure does not involve cutting or the need for general anesthesia and can be performed in the comfort of our office.
Newport Beach Women's Wellness Center now offers the NovaSure procedure at our local hospitals. If you are experiencing heavy periods that are keeping you from enjoying your life, then you should consider the NovaSure procedure. NovaSure, endometrial ablation, is a safe, simple procedure that's been proven to help control heavy menstrual bleeding (menorrhagia) without any need for hormones or a hysterectomy.
If you have an abnormal cervical cancer screening result, your health care provider may suggest that you have a loop electrosurgical excision procedure (LEEP) as part of the evaluation or for treatment (see the FAQ Cervical Cancer Screening). LEEP is one way to remove abnormal cells from the cervix by using a thin wire loop that acts like a scalpel (surgical knife).
More than 2.5 million women every year visit their gynecologist because of excessive uterine bleeding, also called menorrhagia. This common ailment can drain a woman's energy and her confidence. I had an appointment with Dr. Sayago the 1st week of December 2020, when I showed up for my appointment the office was closed but shortly after Dr. Sayago arrived. There was no staff present and moving boxes were everywhere. I suffer from a very aggressive form of endometriosis and she gave me hope and a solid plan which included surgery that I desperately need. I was instructed to slide my medical records under the door of her office and told I could reach her easily by email, basically none of my emails or phone calls have EVER been answered.

Terrible business practices! After my first visit with her a follow up visit was scheduled the following month. When I showed up, the office was closed, and although I waited for over an hour, no one came to open up. Later in the day I spoke with someone at that office, not directly associated with Dr. Sagayo, and the person told me that she probably was "delayed". No staff!
Now I want my medical records to bring to another physician. I called twice, told them when I would be coming by to pick them up, and asked to call me back should there be a problem. No call back, so I showed up, the office

Dr. Sayago is a gentle and patient doctor who took the time to listen to my needs. I feel like I am in very good hands when I make visits and check ups, her clinic is clean and comfortable and very welcoming, as well as her staff. It has taken me a while to find a doctor I believe in as well as connect with, and Dr Sayago is the place for me!!

This is the most personal, caring and kind GYN anywhere around. She puts you at ease immediately and she is over the top expert in everything she does. I cannot recommend any physician more highly! She is witty, down to earth, compassionate..and a top notch surgeon! And she takes medicare along with most insurance plans. Once you see her you will never go anywhere else. Oh.. and she also does Cool Sculpt and Vaginal Rejuvenation too! Not a stuffy white coat.. kindest doctor ever!

Dr. Sayago is an amazing doctor. She is very intelligent and takes her time to educate her patients so that they understand. She saw me and took amazing care of me during my pregnancy and was there for my delivery and birth of my first child.
I would highly recommend her because she is everything you want in a doctor. She is caring and listens and spends time with you and you never feel rushed. She is also very smart and loves what she does which also makes her a fantastic Doctor. I have seen her for 7 years and feel lucky to have met her!

Dr Sayago is great. My last visit was great. We had a great treatment plan set in motion, someone was supposed to call me the next day, that was a week ago. I called after that weekend and was told they'd call me back that afternoon, that 3 days ago. I called the next day and left a voicemail asking where we stood with insurance approval, etc and asked for someone to just let me know where we were in the process and never heard back. I was excited about DR Sayago's treatment ideas but her office hasn't had very good follow through. I give her 5 stars, but her team gets 2 for not keeping me in the

Did csection on me without consent at 9cm and lectured me on the operating table that I couldn’t control while I pleaded in terror. I had gone in for a natural birth. She unfortunately was the traveling doc on call the night I went into labor, whom I had never before met. Did a bad job on the section - jagged scar, pain nearly a year later- and found out it wasn’t even necessary, that baby’s heart rate had recovered. Agree she does csections for her own benefit, not caring whose body she harms. The couldn’t determine a reason for csection after my baby was born. She falsified my med records

This doctor left us to rot in the hospital for 22 hours without seeing a single OBGYN. She never called us or sent anyone else to see us. She wasn't there for most of our prenatal appointments either. The on-call doctor stitched my wife so poorly she now needs surgery under general anesthesia to repair it with another 6 week recovery period.

Best experience ever! The doctor is very professional and humble woman that make you feel comfortable and secured that she's there to help you for about everything. The nurses are very dedicated and very well trained to answer anything and help you resolve any situation regarding your health. I'm very pleased that I've found doctor Sayago and her amazing staff.
