This was not an easy decision. Whitaker Wellness has been my "home" for nearly 40 years, and some of our medical and support staff members have been with us for decades. However, retirement has been looming large, and the timing seems right. When Whitaker Wellness opened in 1979, we were one of the first alternative medicine clinics, and over the years we adopted therapies that few others were offering.
Today, the type of medicine Whitaker Wellness helped pioneer is no longer a rarity, and therapies such as IV vitamins, EECP, hyperbaric oxygen therapy, and stem cell therapy are available elsewhere. Looking back, I can only say that being a part of the blossoming of integrative medicine has been exciting and gratifying.

*Horrendous* customer service and billing departments!! After back and forth with an appointment person *no* appointment was set up. Then imagine my surprise when I got a reminder call for a non existent appointment. I immediately called and let them know I don't have an appointment, if they have something on their books remove it, its wrong. Then a month or so later I get a bill for a no show appointment. Rather than immediately correct their error I am given the run around by rude people. Twice they messed up and I'm supposed to spend my time getting a run around on the phone. This should have

So happy to have found a clinic with MDs that are trustworthy and ready to support anyone leaning towards alternative medicine. I have a family member taking a statin drug for the heart. I spoke to a doctor at Whitaker Wellness Clinic who sure enough, practices medicine in alignment with what I had been reading about statin drugs. He told me that they can take you off statin drugs. They understand what they do and are opposed to their use. They can substitute anti-cholesterol meds and prescribe COQ10 supplements!

Everyone I have had contact with at Whitaker are caring folks and good at what they do, especially the IV nurses!!!
BUT...the facility is sadly dated and deteriorating, at least in the IV department. The only upgrade I have noticed is the fishtank was cleaned and new cute fish added! The bathrooms are clean but stink due to almost no ventilation and the lighting is non-existent in the toilet area in one of them and has been that way for a year! The IV room is depressing in decor with the exception of the fishtank. I believe in what Dr. Whitaker does for people...just wish he spent as much on his

I have been a patient at the Whitaker Wellness Institute for two years now. This is a very special medical institute. They do not rush to prescribe me medication to quickly rush me out of the office, which I feel I have experienced with way too many doctors and hospitals. This is not a business to them, and I am not just patient number 100 to them. My doctor goes through all of my options with me. I feel a very personal connection with my doctor and I will not be seeing anyone else as my primary.
