Imagine living in an underground home. You're completely buried, just underneath the frost line. Inside the earth, the temperature is a cool and constant 55°F. One small heater is all it takes to raise your temperature to a comfortable 75° - year round, any season. Your heating and cooling bills would be almost nothing!
Ductless mini-split systems are an excellent choice for new homes that require only a small space conditioning system. Mini-split systems can also be a great choice for room additions where extending or installing ductwork is not feasible, and they also work very well for retrofit additions to a home or business.
They save money, both in operating costs and maintenance costs. You can expect to save up to 70% more than with a conventional system. Investments can be recouped in as little as three years. There is a positive cash flow, since the energy savings exceeds payment on the system. Additionally, a Geothermal unit can be expected to last twice as long as a conventional system, thereby saving a large amount in the mid-life of the geothermal unit.
At A&C the minimum thermostat we will install is a digital programmable thermostat. However, we do recommend several of the intelligent thermostats to improve your energy efficiency. After all, you have decided to go as energy efficient as possible on the geothermal HVAC so go that extra step and install a thermostat that will maximum the energy efficiency available.

Worst service ever. I moved into a new home in July 2020. I have a letter from this company stating they would replace the cover of a unit because the part was not available prior to sale of the home. Here we are, nearly one year later. It’s been nothing but excuse after excuse. Even after admitting the part was available, they have not come out to complete the repair. They have canceled and avoided coming out countless times. I can’t keep chasing them. Now I have to hire an attorney.
