Texans Can Academy
We are firmly committed to the belief that every young person can learn. Our combination of a rigorous yet nurturing environment, outstanding teachers, and a unique teaching method allows us to help young people most would regard as the least likely to succeed. To provide the highest quality education for all students, especially those who have struggled in a traditional high school setting, in order to ensure their economic independence.

Texans Can Academies is first and foremost about Hope. Every day, we see what reignited Hope can do for a child's life. We see the need, and the promise. Our students have struggled-some of them for years-in traditional school settings, and they began to believe that school, and all it can bring, wasn't for them.
Services
To provide the highest quality education for all students, especially those who have struggled in a traditional high school setting, in order to ensure their economic independence. In 1976, Grant East began Freedom Ministries, a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization working with juvenile offenders.
Texans Can Academies is governed by a group of dedicated and talented volunteers - our Board of Trustees. Each school also has a group of volunteers who serve as their Development Council to assist in fundraising efforts.

These community leaders lend their support and resources to help us in our mission to provide the highest quality education for all students, especially those who have struggled in a traditional high school setting, in order to ensure their economic independence.America CAN!, dba Texans Can Academies and America CAN! Cars for Kids, is searching for community-based civic-minded individuals to serve on its Board of Trustees.
That left Venicio at home alone or on the streets with his friends. He was hard headed like most teenage boys, and was kicked out of several high schools for fighting. Myreon Jackson is graduating a year early from high school. He never thought that was possible. School had always been a struggle for him. His attention span was short and large classes in public school just added to the distractions. In high school, Myreon had a severe skipping problem. He had given up on himself.

Texans Can Academies is an outstanding opportunity for young students to create their own destiny. The tools in which they develop here are life changing. Young adults realize that they can attend College. Attend a Trade School. Become any profession that they so desire. Start their own business one day. Achieve their highest goals. The Administration, and Teachers are amazing. Caring. They are there to help young people reach their potential. I 100% recommend Texans Can as a New Start to a Bright Future!

This place is a joke !!! Nobody has a clue as to what’s going on. I’ve called 13 times and left voicemail after voicemail. No one has EVER answered the phone or returned any of my calls. They have kids help run the office and they’re incompetent/idiots. Do your job people!! The real world doesn’t work like this.

Lots of mismanagement and if you want to be a certified teacher DO NOT join their program at Mountain View. They don't help you with anything. They just require you to take classes forever. And you may not even get a teaching job. The company does not appreciate loyal employees that want to grow. Better to join Texas teachers or Region 10.

I went here and I graduated in 2008. At the time I was there, all the teachers and counselors were awesome. They truly cared for each student who allowed them to imprint on our lives. They never have up!! Its a great school if your willing to let them be great for you.
