St. Thomas High School is a Roman Catholic college preparatory school for young men in grades 9-12. The school was founded by three Basilian priests in the spring of 1900 with the mission to provide secondary education strongly rooted in the teachings of the Catholic faith.
Those three incredible priests may never have believed that now, over 100 years later, St. Thomas High School has grown from its humble beginnings in a warehouse in downtown Houston into the extraordinary monument to education and spiritual development that it is today.

Excelent school. The dress code is very fair. Khaky pants and Polo shirts (any color). On mass days wich is maybe once a month same pants and white long sleeve shirt with red tie. They can use a navy blazer but it's not mandatory. It's a college preparatory school with excellent morals codes which the man of St Thomas learn for life.

St. Thomas High School is a special place that teaches its students to be good people in addition to be college ready. The boys graduate with strong confidence and ambition along with a sense of gratitude for the experience of being a student there. Most goals in life worth having a difficult to attain. STH makes them work hard but rewards them for this effort. 100% of this year's class will go on to college, attending 65 different universities throughout the country.
