Rehab is the stage of addiction treatment that takes place after Detox. It is still a level of care that needs some medical stabilization but at this point, therapy and healing really begin. The fog starts to lift and it's a perfect opportunity to really get into the work that will set the foundation for long-term recovery.

Our team of licensed, experienced detox experts provide care that includes a comprehensive medical assessment and ongoing management of your withdrawal symptoms in a safe, comfortable environment.
Identifying and treating underlying psychiatric disorders in people suffering from substance abuse can be extremely tricky, and is a relatively new approach originating in the 1990s. Symptoms of a disorder can, at times, closely mimic the symptoms of substance abuse (and vis versa)-particularly if the case is severe.
Partial Hospitalization Programs are becoming popular in the United States as they help treat individuals facing substance abuse and mental illness. PHP is attracting interest from the public because it provides an affordable and relatively quick method to long-term hospitalization because the person lives at home while getting treatments at a nearby hospital or medical center.
Undergoing opioid withdrawal feels like having an awful case of the flu. Nausea, body ache, fever, and fatigue are typical withdrawal symptoms. Anxiety, depression, restlessness, and irritability are usually part of the process too. Unfortunately, treatment drop-out rates are relatively high, and if the opioid-addicted individual relapses, overdosing likely-and often deadly.

Profound treatment is an amazing service. Between the call center to the techs and nurses, the counselors and other clients, this center gave me my life back. The techs and counselors and nurses make this facility a restful and rejuvenating way to recover and turn your life around. Clients are always cared for and when they leave, they are equipped with new skills and a foundation to build a better life without drugs and alcohol. Deeply grateful Profound Treatment exists.

I attended the alumni event at Mother's beach with a group of people from Profound. We picked up trash on the beach since it was adopted by Profound. It was a great way to be of service, give back to the community, and stay connected with people in treatment. I had a blast and am looking forward to more events to come!

My experience at Profound Recovery was nothing but amazing! All the staff are extremely helpful, dedicated, and hard working to be there for their clients. The feeling is that they are truly there for you and your recovery. Sara, Jo, John, Stephen, Tessa, Efron, and Zach thank you so much for being such wonderful staff members and therapists! You have truly helped me through my journey in recovery. The accommodations are fantastic! They also keep the program interesting and interactive by having fun outings like surfing, biking, and wolf therapy. I appreciate this program and would highly recommend

Profound treatment center is exceptional. I made so many meaningful connections with the clients and staff while I was there I was saddened amongst discharge. I came into treatment anxious and scared to meet my housemates and left feeling a level of connection with each and everyone of them that is unmatched elsewhere. I know most people don’t really believe the reviews on here are actually legit but all of these 5 stars people are giving are absolutely 100% real. I’ve been to many treatment centers and they were mainly in South Florida so I was very iffy on going back into treatment because I’ve had some pretty bad experiences. From the second I walked into Profound they were so kind to me and treated me with respect and they are very genuine in the work they do. I had an overall great experience. Gaby and Jo are two of the most amazing women I’ve met and have helped me a lot in my recovery. The rest of the staff has been supportive and understanding. I struggled with an opiod addiction for many years. I never thought I would be in recovery or sober for longer than one day but Profound Treatment really is profound. I can honestly say that Profound Treatment Center changed my life for the better. I had struggled with addiction and mental health problems for years and nearly lost everything in the process. I have never felt more loved and supported by treatment professionals. Jessica, Lisa, Michelle, Matt, Eytan, Jeff, Scott and too many staff to name, all made me feel like I mattered. I ended up transferring to a higher level of care and they had so many people working to support me instead of just making it someone else’s problem. A month later I still check in with the team there and they offer to help me and give me resources.
