Two Twisted Posts Winery
In 2011, after letting our vineyard grow and mature, we bottled our harvest and sent it off to the Virginia Governors Cup. We were interested in the tasting comments and feedback from the judges. They spoke. We won a gold for our Chardonnay and we were selected for the Governor's Case. This was our beginning.

We are a family owned and operated, Virgina Proud, Loudoun Proud, award winning winery and vineyard. With one of the few (but growing) female winemakers in Virginia, Theresa Robertson, winemaker and owner, lets her own style shine through in the wine. Initially influenced by the french winemaking process, those methods supplement her own unique style.
Services
We started this endeavor with a heritage of farming in our family and some personal experience in orchard production. We felt the growing of grapes in Virginia, although challenging, was within our area of experience and one in which we could achieve great results. We believe this idea has been validated by our production of some of the highest quality grapes in Northern Virginia and in our award winning wines.

Nice wine flights in a calm, relaxed setting. Love the vibe and the service is great, one the nicer vineyards in Loudoun.

I absolutely loved this place! We weren’t even planning on going, but saw all the pride flags and knew we had to check it out! From the moment we came around the corner we were treated like old friends by the staff and felt very welcomed. We enjoyed our tasting, especially the extra sample of peach sangria that was brought to our table. It was divine! We bought two bottles! The atmosphere was fun and all the dogs running around added to the friendly feel. Kudos to the staff for making this place so special. Wished we lived closer so we could visit more often!

A great spot for a large or small group to enjoy a wine flight or the peach sangria with friends. The outdoor space is great for games, a picnic or enjoying the live music. There is plenty of shade which I love, so even on a hot Summer day you will be super comfortable. The staff was super friendly and welcoming

Smaller winery but definitely fit our style more than most!
We were beyond excited to see how inclusive they were! Staff was great, Arizona the wine doggo was even better.
The wine was tasty and the accommodations made for COVID were perfect. It was a comfortable environment. If we lived closer, we'd definitely be back!

We stopped by this winery after Maggie Mallic winery.
It is relatively small size winery but there are many picnic tables. This place is dog friendly and dogs are running around the place.

We really enjoyed the wine especially red ones. We end up getting Merlot.

I highly recommend this place.

We travelled to the Harpers Ferry area to enjoy the great outdoors, but a girl's gotta have her wine. We had a pretty full itinerary, so only time for one winery, and I'm glad it was this one. We arrived shortly after opening time on a weekday, so we were the only customers and Casey was very accommodating, giving me plenty of time to enjoy my tasting and checking back to answer any questions, as well as to share some interesting winery history. We found the outdoor setting very relaxing. Hubby doesn't do wine, but indulges me and passed the time with a new canine friend. Usually

This winery probably has the most friendly staff out of any winery I've been to in Loudon county. When we arrived we were immediately greeted and given suggestions based on what we said we liked. The manager even gave us bug spray and a candle to help keep the bugs away. They honestly went above and beyond to make sure our time was enjoyable, we even ended up leaving and coming back with more friends that same day. The vibe here was very relaxed unlike some of the other wineries who come off very stuck up.

This is a great place to go and kick it with friends for a day or for a picnic date. We went one evening and had their wine flights and then a glass after of ones we liked. Their wines are extremely delicious (coming from a guy who is not a wine person) and the hosts are very informative and passionate and will dive into the details of their wines, their tasting notes, history and such. We spent a great evening here. We also had the cracker and cheese basket which they they have on the menu but they do encourage bringing your own snacks/food too. You can also get a close look at their vineyards

My absolute favorite red wine is made by 2 Twisted Posts - the 'Don't Call Me a Cab' The tasting area is a teeny room in the front of a small barn, with a nice shaded porch-like outdoor sitting area & bar in the back. The yard has chairs & a hammock for relaxing, and there are usually a few big friendly dogs lying about between tables of guests. The vibe is relaxed and the drink is goooood. :-)

Great wine and service! We loved it here this weekend. Mrs.Denise was serving us and she was a joy. We had new wine drinkers in our group and she was very attentive to help them. We left with 4 bottles after our flights and a new favorite place!

Best winery I've ever been to! Their wines are my favorite! We drive an hour and a half to get to this winery because their wines are so great. They have something for everyone. Their wines are so unique and nothing like I've ever had before. The staff are so friendly and helpful and deal with my annoying questions and emails etc. can't wait to go back!

What a wonderful quiet spot to soak up some sunshine and fabulously delicious wine!
With a friendly group of staff who are knowledgeable about their wine and history of the vineyard.
Wine tasting is a low $10 and well worth the experience to find a new favourite.
Wine by the glass and bottle is available. Food options are limited to plates of cheese and crackers which pair well with the wine. Smores kits are available for use with the large fire pit which seats around 10 people.
Plenty of seating is available both shared under the barns canopies and picnic benches in the sunshine.

Loved this place! Smaller than others but beautiful property. AmaZing wine! I did a tasting that was reasonably priced and ordered a glass of "Dont call me a cab" which was delicious! I came back another weekend and bought a bottle and plan to stock up on their wine for Christmas gifts.

Highly recommend this winery. The people are kind and knowledgeable about the wine. They facilitated a great experience for my husband and I and our friends. This is my favorite winery that I have visited in the Leesburg area.

Came here with my alumni group (with 28 of us) and we had a blast. Two Twisted Posts had set aside a private tented area for us, and allowed us to order wine by the glass or by the bottle from a staff member who was assigned to us. They also offered tastings, but as it was our third winery we opted not to do the tasting. Live music and corn hole were also great touches. Really enjoyed the wine and the atmosphere - we will be back!

This is a small winery nestled in Loudon county! We did a little wine tour weekend and this place by far had the best white wines I have ever tasted!!! We got a bottle of the 2013 Vidal Blanc and the 2013 Sweet Life. If you like a semi-sweet white wine these are great choices.

This is now one of our favorite places to stop by on our wine weekends!!

Two Twisted Posts should be on everyone's Virginia wine radar. We have been to many of the area wineries and only made it down Harpers Ferry Road as far as Breaux. As we just learned, we didn't venture far enough.

The atmosphere is warm and welcoming - we were immediately greeted by Casey and Caroline. Casey gave us an excellent tasting session - she was very knowledgeable about the wines and also threw in some fun stories about the winery.

Now to the wine- the tasting led us between dry and sweet, mixing between whites and reds. Honestly, this was great as it kept it interesting

Two Twisted Posts Winery is just past Breaux Vineyards and right before Cardamon Family Winery. They have a long driveway that lands you on a nice piece of land with ample parking an outdoor picnic area.

Signs pointing to the tasting room brought us into a very rustic barn/winery room. There is a nice tasting bar as well as a few indoor tables. On Saturday, they had live music going on in the barrel rooms. We sat near the gas fireplace that had a cozy sofa and a small table and chairs.

The staff was so friendly and provided some nice education on their wines. We enjoyed their blends

Cute little place in the middle of a neighborhood thick with wineries. Their size could cause you to skip it, but I really hope people give them a try.

Two Twisted Posts has 6.5 acres of grapes and makes about 1500 cases/year. By local standards, that's REALLY tinny. But the tasting room has a nice rustic charm to it, and I did like the wine and friendly service.

Whites:

2011 Chardonnay: Oaky but not buttery; OK
2011 Sweet Life: Actually not too sweet, but surprisingly complex
2011 Vidal Blanc: OK

Reds:

2011 Cab Franc: This was not a good year, but they did the best with what they had
