After the passing of Dr. Orr in 1985, his son Dr. Steve Orr followed in his footsteps and joined Dr. Copeland at Orr Animal Clinic. Clinton Animal Hospital is a full-service Veterinarian and has been proudly treating the beloved pets of the Clinton community since 2000. We simply adore our animal friends and understand the value a pet brings to life. That's why we focus on preventative medicine as the basis for superior veterinary care.
Dr. Julie James is a 2004 graduate of Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine and a Clinton native. Her compassion and enthusiasm shows in everything that she does. Dr. James truly loves each of her patients and strives to provide each one with the best care. You will most likely see her with her two shadows while she is at work, her rescue dogs Annabelle and Pup Pup.
Whether this is your 1st pet or your 5th, we will ensure that your furry pets receives all appropriate treatment and services vital to their overall health and happiness. We provide wellness care for all of our patients in order to make sure your pet gets to live the happy and healthy life they deserve.
She later moved south to attend The University of Tennessee where she graduated with her DVM in 2016. As a veterinarian, Dr. LaMier strives to develop meaningful connections with her clients in order to work together as a team in providing the best care possible for their pets. In her free time, Dr. LaMier enjoys spending time outdoors, hiking, playing tennis, volleyball and spending time with her friends and family.
With more than 15 years experience working at Clinton Animal Hospital, you will often see Kelly's smiling face up front greeting everyone. She has been married since 2002, has two beautiful girls, and lives happily on a farm with her cows, chickens, 2 cats, and 3 dogs. A Clinton Native, alum of Clinton High School class of '07, and world traveller, Kane returned to South Carolina from Hawai'i in 2020.

Today’s visit was a hard one that involved having my old guy put to sleep. They were wonderful and caring as they helped me deal with my loss. The vet ensured that my cat passed peacefully. I love coming here. Their prices are also very reasonable which is an added plus.

Absolutely useless. I called to try and get my dog in and they told me to call the next day to secure a walk-in. I called the very next morning at 8:00 like they told me and said I couldn't walk in despite what I was told the day before and me explaining that my dog was in need of getting looked at.
Avoid at all costs. Completely unreliable and unprofessional. You're better of diagnosing your dog yourself.

We have been using Clinton Animal Hospital for our baby Grimm for the two years we have had him. The love care and compassion shown here is AMAZING! Everyone that works here is wonderful and I wouldn’t trust my baby with anyone else.

I have and will continue to drive 2 hours to Clinton Animal Hospital, the staff and doctors are outstanding and the groomer(Paula) is absolute precious and my dog adores her. She does the best work I’ve ever seen on all the babies. It’s obvious she as well as all the staff are truly animal lovers. Thank God for Clinton Animal Hospital and Michelle and her staff and for Paula for loving our babies!

My husband and I were so blessed to have gotten our little Sable in so quickly. She'd never been sick before and they took GREAT care of her... the assistant and Dr Pierce were so attentive and explained everything so well. Check out was a breeze and we're so thankful to have a Veterinary Hospital, now on speed dial. 😆 🤣 😂 😹 🐕
