It’s a mistake to stay in here, my son is going to the williams college and we are here for the orientation. As per college recommendation we booked the room here. Everything is extremely dirty, smelly and you can see the spiders walking in the room, you can’t walk in the room without a sleepers because the carpet is very dirty and sticky. Linen, towels have bad smell and spots. I think I will be sick with the room situation. Pls think million time to stay here pay little extra but don’t stay here. However the owner is nice but that’s not you only want.

I am not sure if there are new owners but I will say that we were lucky to get a room here when we had to leave our other "upscale hotel" down the road at 9:30pm because of serious issues over there. I would have to guess based on past reviews that Northside is under new management. The Innkeeper was very nice and helpful and it is obvious that they are really trying to keep the maintenance up and everything clean. The comforters where clean and bright white as were the linens and the bathroom. Really, everything was clean including the furniture and bathrooms. They have attempted to

Pool closed w/out warning, disappointingly b/c I really needed that. No room-darkening blinds, so porch light shines in & you get blasted awake at dawn. Outside everything is dirty and run down. Stairs and balcony narrow and cramped. Screen door is a nice idea I guess but door latch jammed and hard to open. Sink handles clunky. Room itself was surprisingly nice—clean and tidy, firm comfortable bed, new A/C in our room, deltoid shower spray and hot water. Way overpriced (had to pay double the typical listing b/c busy Saturday). Manager seems nice. Emergency stay only.

Sorry to see all of these negative reviews. I loved my stay here and not sure what the other reviewers were expecting. the rooms are dated and the comforters are old but the first thing that I do in any hotel / motel is to remove the comforter and put it as far away from me as possible. it is a small motel in a small town so one should have reasonable expectations. the room was comfortable, clean, large. the water pressure in the shower was awesome! I HATE staying in places with low to no water pressure. I didn't want to get out of the shower. the free continental breakfast was pretty much

This motel is desperately trying to be a 2 star motel, I mean d e s p e r a t e l y trying. First you walk in, no one is at the desk. A sign tells you to step outside and use a wall phone and ring a door bell to get someone to the front desk. You pick up the phone, The phone is dead. You then walk back in to find a young man standing there looking at you. You check in. You then walk to your room. The hotel room door is clearly made of cardboard at best. You walk into a somewhat clean room. You walk over to the ac unit to find that it does not turn on. You walk down to the front desk. He tells you

The room was super dirty. Here are some photos of the pack n play they provided for our infant. I mentioned the stains and a woman who answered at the front said that it was for the owner's son who is now 14. Okaaaay? It's only $40 for a brand new one! We tried to buy a totally new one but the stores were all closed. We were pretty squicked, and we're not picky folks! There were also stains on the carpet and all the chairs. We only felt comfortable sitting our baby on the sheets because the floor was so dirty, so it was a very stressful weekend. The beds were comfortable but the fitted sheet didn

The good reviews on Expedia and Travelocity are 10/10 fake, this is by far the worst places we've ever stayed. We got there pretty late so we had the option to self check in which was nice, we got to our rooms and considered immediately going somewhere else but decided to just stick it out and see how it went, one of the rooms lights flickered constantly, both rooms comforters were dirty, nothing has been updated and there seemed to be plastic under the carpet, and the floor was super creaky. The walls were paper thin and the person in the room next to us kept us up all night, there's

Contrary to several reviews our experience with Northside Motel has been quite positive. We stayed at the Northside last year at this time and this year. The innkeepers have been helpful in all ways. The rooms are not fancy, but certainly serve the purpose. The rates are extremely fair. This afternoon I seemed to be having an allergic reaction to something and my shaving kit contained no antihistamines. Williamstown is a wonderful place, but there are no drug or convenience stores. I asked the innkeeper if he had any antihistamines and he said that he didn't. When we returned from

I booked a room at their site via hotels.com. When we got the confirmation the date rolled forward. I called within 5 minutes of submitting and was told it's my problem there's nothing they can do. It was minutes and their system that made the mistake. The correct date and same price was still in the website and he offered nothing. That's not the kind of business I want to deal with. Once there you have to wonder how they'll treat you. Buyer beware don't give your money to this company

Don't make the mistake I did.
I believed the reviews on the other sites like Kayak. I wish I hadn't. I'm glad we were there for only two nights. It's old. It's dated. It's not particularly clean (I ran my finger atop the headboard and came up with a ton of dust on it). The toilet had leaked a very small puddle of water onto the floor which was gone by morning. Ew. The bathroom is barely big enough to move around. No. Seriously. You can sit on the john and rest your head on the wall. No. I'm not kidding. The bed wasn't anything great. The only good thing

I am pretty flexible about lodgings and have stayed in some real dives, which is why I don't give this place one star. This said, oh my. Staying there is a trip back to the 1950s. My room did not smell; it was clean, no problem there, but antiquated; I did not bring an extension cord or adaptors (three-prong to two-prong) so was kind of stuck for charging my phone and computer. The bed was fine. I was on the third floor under the eves, so random furniture was crammed into spaces under the eves. The room had a fire exit and the sole window was taken up by an A/C and television so you couldn

Well, you get what you pay for. Smelly, dirty, with paper thin walls. Location couldn't be better for Williams College but I'm not sure that justifies the experience of staying here.
Something in the room put my allergies into overdrive. The shower has two temperature settings: ice and scalding. The towels are just a little larger than a typical hand towel and were rough enough to actually hurt.
For the cost of a night here you could buy a tent and be more comfortable.

This is the worst place I have ever stayed!!!!!! 1: The whole room smelled like a mix of expired milk and dead animals
2: The toilet wouldn't flush, and the bathroom was filled with spider webs
3: The bed and pillows were rock hard, and were very dirty
4:The pool was tiny, over chlorinated, and extremely dirty.
So all in all, if you need a place to stay in williamstown, try the hotel next door, for a little more money
