Red Rose Motel
A Beautiful Motel Located on the Deerfield River in Charlemont MA just minutes to Shelburne Falls. Giovanni's Red Rose Motel has been in our family since 1978. The motel is a staple of The Mohawk Trail. Our primary mission is to keep Charlemont fun, friendly, and affordable for families. We believe that the magic of The Berkshires is in it's natural beauty, an abundance of outdoor activities, and the many options for delicious food and drink.

We are a family-run business who lives on-premises, ensuring that whatever happens, you can feel safe at the Red Rose. Having spent our lives growing up in the community, we can point you in the right direction. Whether that's a hidden spot to go fishing or the best restaurant for your family, we are here to help make your experience everything you would imagine.

Gorgeous place, everything was cleaned thoroughly, nice free WiFi which really helped as their is almost no service out here. Beds were amazing, quilted blankets and soft sheets. Place has a nice AC and a mini hang out area by the river. Staff was very nice, overall I highly recommend.

The Red Rose Motel was our first nights stay on an 11 day New England road trip. We stayed one night and the motel is a cute road side motel a short 5 minute drive outside of Shelburne Falls. Simple, no frills, CLEAN, comfy place to stay. Check in & check out was super easy. Would stay here again if in the area!

We stayed at the Red Rose and had a fantastic experience. Clean rooms, super comfy beds, had all amenities we needed. Oma is the sweetest host and Aldo & Riana took care of us and made us feel very welcomed. Its right on route 2 Mohawk Trail, to get back on to the road was a snap. Only 5 mins to Shelburne Falls which has all we need. Breakfast, lunch and dinner. Cute grocery store and the bridge of flowers. My husband is a fisherman and enjoyed the perks of also being right on the deefield river. A walk across the street into a section that is perfect for fly fishing. (Although he didn&apos

This is my favorite spot to head to when on the Mohawk trail. Everything is so close by, great in the summer and great in the winter! So family oriented, love coming here!

Clean, friendly and great price for the area. Nothing fancy but clean is key to me & felt safe and comfortable whole time. Nice people and recommend if looking for a good 'home base' while out doing other things in the area. They have a pool too and are super close to Crab Apple whitewater rafting company.

Nothing fancy but a great nights sleep and comfortable accommodations. Could use an upgrade on the TV but we were here for the scenic views and not the movie channels.

The room was perfect for what my friend and I needed. It was a very quick drive to the Berkshire East ski resort and not far from the restaurants in downtown Shelbourne Falls. If you are looking for a fun activity at night, seek out the Shelbourne Falls Bowling Alley where they have candlepin bowling. Overall, the room was clean and they had hot water for showers. I would not hesitate to book here again.

It's a motel. You should know this when you pull up to it.
The place is run by a very nice staff and is relatively clean.
There isn't much in the area and I think the rate is about $15-20 more than what it should be, BUT......it filled my needs quite well.

So my boyfriend and I were relaxing on the bed in a compromising position. We had the do not disturb sign out. We heard someone scrabbling at the door with a key. We started yelling STOP, stop, there's someone in here! The window right next to the door was open, there was no way he didn't hear us yelling! And he (janitor? proprietor? I was too embarrassed to find out) kept opening the door and came right into the room, getting an eyeful as we scrambled to pull covers over ourselves.

He apologized and turned around and left. But here's the thing: I was on the phone with my mother

We have stayed at the Red Rose every year for so many years. We go there with a large group of family and friends. We like staying at the Red Rose because they have a good size pool, we can have a cook out and there is plenty of space for kids to play and run. The rooms are not fancy but they have direcTV and free wi-fi. We like that it is a family-run business and the owners are very friendly.

Double bed room with very dated furniture and dirty carpet for $82 (after tax). They do have a small pool and a front door view of a busy Route 2. Slow service and no amenities aside from A/C. But instead of getting soaked during a camping trip, we got this hotel room. It was a move out of desperation.
