Olga Rocklin Psychotherapy
Currently, I'm offering phone and video sessions to California residents. You are here because you or someone you care about is experiencing a sense of distress or imbalance. Recognizing that something feels off is worthwhile even when it's painful. You're taking steps to care for yourself by seeking therapy.

You may want support with something specific; maybe you want to learn to make more healthful choices; perhaps there is a difficult life situation or a loss you want help navigating. While therapy may feel challenging at times, it's beneficial. Some of the outcomes may include: clearer self-understanding, self-compassion, learning wholesome coping skills, and a return to living a more balanced and fulfilling life.
Services
My goal is to help you feel balanced, grounded, and live with more ease & authenticity. My approach is compassionate, nurturing and direct. I believe that effective therapy is based upon mutual and genuine curiosity in discovering how to meet life's challenges and difficulties. I'm here to navigate this with you.
Everyone goes through challenges in life. While you may have successfully navigated many difficulties you've faced, sometimes it is helpful to seek support. You get to learn or relearn wholesome coping skills that you can apply in various situations and circumstances in your life. I invite you to contact me for a free consultation as you consider whether working together could be a good fit.
Adolescence and young adulthood (ages 13-26) are crucial periods in a young person's life, filled with rapid brain development, individuation and learning to make life-impacting decisions. I enjoy the opportunity to support young people in this process. During therapy, teens and young adults learn about emotional awareness and coping skills.
Issues surrounding food, body image and exercise are common. They usually arise for a reason. Over time, these reasons may change and the behaviors no longer serve you. We will explore this together and find ways for you to learn to cope in new and more wholesome ways, while repairing your relationship with your body.
Mindfulness is a way to become aware and present with experiences from moment to moment. It is a way of being in your body, aware of your thoughts and emotions. It is learning to respond with less judgment and reactivity, with more kindness and gentleness toward yourself and others. Mindfulness can help you to move from living on autopilot and reconnect with living a more intentional, meaningful and ethical life.

Olga is warm, centered, and genuine in her clinical work and in her day-to-day interactions. As a colleague, I have not hesitated to refer clients to her, particularly young adults undergoing transitions, clients struggling with eating disorders, and clients looking to expand their use of mindfulness and meditation to reduce stress and pain. She is well-respected as a leader among MFT's in San Francisco.

I have known Olga over 6 years during our studies at Santa Clara University. Olga is one of the best empathic, mindful and caring therapists I have met. She is very knowledgeable and anytime I want to learn more about eating disorders she is the one I will contact. Olga keeps up to date with workshops and other trainings as well as being involved as a leader in California Association of MFT's in the Bay Area. Olga is a therapist I'd recommend hands down.
