My mental health work has evolved over the years. My academic training includes the following: B.A. in Psychology from Stanford University, M.A. in Special Education from the University of Oregon, and Ph. D. in Clinical Psychology from the University of Washington. My Ph. D. program included specialized training in couples and family therapy.

My work experience has included the following: Research Assistant in the Psychology Department at Stanford University, Day Treatment Program Child Case Manager and Family Therapist, Educational Mainstreaming specialist for a Child Day Treatment Program, Clinical Psychology Private Practice.
